GENERAL NOTES
1. Consult instruction book before
installing pump.
2. Pumps are sized to fit pit depths as
listed. Pumps are furnished in
incremental lengths to match pit depths
in 6 inch increments only. Pump length
equals pit depth minus "EE" and minus
tailpipe length.
3. Holes in discharge flange straddle
centerlines.
4. Pipe connections are ANSI B2.1
taper pipe threads.
5. Foundation bolts and piping should
not be set rigidly until receipt of
equipment.
6. When lifting unit, do not use motor
eyebolts. Carefully sling under
mounting plate, or use customer
furnished eyebolts installed in mounting
plate anchor holes.
7. Motor is shown with conduit box
located on centerline for convience of
dimensioning. Actual motor furnished may
have conduit box located on centerline
or 45 off centerline. Conduit box can
be rotated in increments of 90 from
position furnished.
8. The design of piping systems,
foundations, and other areas of system
design is the responsibility of others.
We recommend that the customer consult
a specialist skilled in the design of
foundations, piping, sumps, and related
systems so as to supplement and
interpret Flowserve information
and ensure a successfull installation.
