Unigrout grouting platforms

Unigrout Flex

Unigrout Flex
Since 1921 Atlas Copco is committed to grouting. Unigrout is a
complete range of grouting platforms. Always ready for immediate
use and dedicated to high-quality grouting. Loyal to Atlas Copco
promise to increase your productivity, Unigrout Flex is a new step
ahead in creating high performance units in a compact design. This
new design allows for a new standard in versatility at lowest total
operational cost.
Higher mobility

Unigrout Flex concept grouting units

are characterized by a compact design.
They are always mounted on small,
steel platform, always equipped with
slots for forklift and lifting eyes. This
means reduced transportation cost and
easier job-site mobilization. In fact
Unigrout Flex can be used even in
confined area such as urban or underground operations

High tech grouting starts with high quality mixing

Superior by design

Atlas Copco Cemix is a high speed

and high shear mixer of colloidal type
which grants a superior quality in your
grout. In fact Cemix is able to separate
and effectively wet all and each cement
particle thank to its three steps shearing
actions:
First in the vortex in the container,
created by the high velocity impeller;
Second from the shearing action crea-
ted by the turbulence in the specially
designed mixer housing;
Third, through an eccentric formed
vortex to increase the shear forces;
this also keeps the dry unmixed par-
ticles from forming a floating clod in
the centre.

The water/cement ratio you need

When compared to a paddle mixer,

Cemix 203 H can reach a water /
cement ratio down to 0.35, producing a
thoroughly uniform mix, free from lumps
or aggregates. Cemix 103 H is a high
speed and high shear paddle mixer of
colloidal type for mixing water / cement
ratios down to 0.32. Also this mixer produces a uniform mix free from lumps or
aggregates.
Ready for advanced admixtures

CEMIX mixer

Cemix is also more advantageous to

use in those cases where the mix contains bentonite. Cemix can be used with
micro-fine cements and with all the
advanced mixtures containing fluidificants or accelerators or retardants.

Grout always available

Atlas Copco Cemag agitator serves as

intermediate vessel between the mixer
and the pump and it ensures that grout
is always kept available for the operation when grouting and mixing is being

carried out simultaneously.

Also Cemag creates quality grouting,
by means of counter currents in the
agitators vessel, which keep the mixture in suspension and release air bubbles.

At the heart of the system: Atlas Copco Pumpac grout pump

Pumpac is the most modern grout pump
in the Atlas Copco range. Pumpac features a robust design, based on a single
cylinder, double acting piston.
A wide range of applications

Pumpac is capable of pumping most

grout mixtures used for sealing and
reinforcement of rock, soil and concrete. Interchangeable cylinders can
vary the pressure/flow configuration,
expanding the pumps application field.

Independent pressure and flow

adjustment

Pumpac allows to adjust pressure and

flow independently and step-less during
the whole grouting operation.
User-friendly

Easy cleaning means lower operational

costs. Pumpac can be disassembled
with just only one 46 mm wrench.
Pumpac runs on environmental friendly
hydraulic fluid

Pumpac grout pump

Operational cost kept to a minimum

Pumpac is build with best abrasion

resistant material and features a smart,
modularized design which reduces
maintenance and operation costs lasting. Pumpac displays a self cleaning
cement fluid end and features a water
flushing system on the cement and
hydraulic piston rods. Simple but reliable ball valves are easy to clean and
last longer.

different pressure levels. This is particularly useful whenever using tubea-manchette or other sequential grouting. methods.

Logac computer based recording system

The Atlas Copco Logac system is a computerised logging
system for sampling and storing of data during grouting or similar
operations. The Logac G5 is the latest version, characterized by
improved reliability and simplicity in operation.
All the grouting parameters under
control

The Logac G5 stores and displays all

of the key parameters involved in high
quality grouting such as pressure, flow,
volume and time. Logac G5 can monitor up to 4 lines (holes) at the same
time
Can-Bus architecture

Logac G5 features a modern Can-Bus

architecture, the same mounted on all
Atlas Copco computerized drill rigs.
Therefore it is more robust, easier to
use, more reliable and easier to service.
User friendly

An 6,5 high intensity, alpha-numerical display allows a simpler identification of the holes and an easy reading
of the data. Logac G5 can be interfaced to Atlas Copco Can-Bus controlled
drill rigs and their measure-whiledrilling functions. A lithium, long life
battery grants that no data gets lost
even in case of power loss.
GIN and Lugeon also available

Logac G5 is capable of monitoring

four grout lines simultaneously and
can be used for injections using the
GIN method or for Lugeon tests.
The recorder registers as standard up
to 1450 psi (100 bar) pressure and 26
gpm (100 l/min) flow. The recorder
electronics are built-in in a tight cabinet with an LCD display. On the bottom of the cabinet there are cable connections and a USB port with a strong
and waterproof cover with an easy grip
to open and insert the provided USB
memory stick. All data stored in the
Logac G5 can be transferred to a computer, either via the USB memory stick
or via a computer network connection.

CFP flow and pressure sensors

The PC based Logac Monitor program

is a part of the Logac system. It is
intended for quick and easy viewing
of the recorded data. Logac Monitor
has three different main windows, each
one associated with one of the three
different injection methods: standard
grouting, GIN and Lugeon for waterloss measurements.

Mounted on the pressure lines, the

CFP-4 operates with a pressure up to
580 psi (40 bar) and the CFP-10 up to
1450 psi (100 bar) pressure.
The electromagnetic flow meter has
two inductive sensors enclosed in a
ceramic housing. The flow meter is
without internal moving or extruding
parts and has well protected integrated electronics for safe operation. The
standard flow meter operates in a range
of 26 gpm (100 l/min).
