SPEKE FLIGHT SERGEANT

HONOURED WITH TOP CADETS
Flight Sergeant Jordan Alleyne was
honoured back in July with Lord
Lieutenants Award.

Keeping up with Comms:

July saw two of our Cadets, Sgt
Stodolniak & Cdt Hoh Teh attain
their Bronze Radio Communications awards, This is just one of
a long line of qualifications available to Cadets in the Radio Communications syllabus. Keep
those qualifications coming
guys!

Its been an amazing year for Flight Sergeant Jordan Alleyne, He was awarded
best male cadet in Merseyside at last
years Field Training Day where he saw
off every other male cadet in the wing
coming out on top Best Male. F/S Alleyne also came first in the Flight Simulator competition on the day.
The year continued to be busy for
Jordan which seen him take part in IACE
(International Air Cadet Exchange) where
he spent time in Germany seeing how
cadets do things there. Im told it was a
very enjoyable experience and one to be
recommended.
In July the honours kept coming and at a
ceremony held at Liverpool Town Hall,
Jordan was given the very prestigious
award of Lord Lieutenants Cadet. To our
knowledge this is the first time that a 90
cadet has been given the Lord Lieutenants award and it goes without saying
that all at the Squadron were incredibly
proud.
Jordan has been on Squadron for five
years and has achieved a huge amount
over that time, These experiences have
gone some way to helping him with his
career goal of becoming a Pilot with Her
Majesties Royal Navy.

F/S Alleyne is presented with Lord Lieutenant's Award

Jordan is due to leave 90 Sqn and the ATC at the
end of August, he will then head off to Dartmouth for
Helicopter pilot training with the Navy.
Jordan had this message for Cadets and staff:
After 5 years, it's with great regret that I leave 90.
Without a doubt, my time here has developed me
into an individual I never thought I'd become, and I
hope I've helped ensure that when your time comes
to leave, you think the same of yourself. Although I
haven't been as present as I'd have liked to have
been these past few weeks, I still wish you all the
best of luck and that you knock FTD out the park! As
and when I can I'll visit and hope to see many of you
still here driving the Sqn forward. I hope I've inspired
at least some of you; each and every one of you has
inspired me. It's been a pleasure
Best of luck for the future Jordan!
