The Pasig Green City vision was

built upon the attaining of
sustainable development, sound
environmental management and
the strengthening of already
resilient community. The
stakeholders form will lead the
development of the green city
ordinance for us Pasiguenos.

It promotes public-private partnership & consensus building in

developing a responsive and responsible program for the city. Just
recently, our city received the Gawad Kalasag award from the National
DRRMC for best city disaster risk management council & for highly
urbanized city category as one of the most child friendly local
government unit in the National Capital Region.
Climate change is a global phenomenon that requires massive &
immediate action and since we humans are the biggest contributors to
climate change, it is imperative that we take the biggest work to arrest
further damage. If people are the cause to environmental problems, then
people are also the solution to preotect.

According to further research, having a facility that

invites people for recreation adds in the value of an
area also for its adjacent places. When familiarity
takes place in an area, the value of the venue also rises
bringing a positive attitude to the people increasing
the chances for them to think of lessening the harm
they could bring to the place and an example is by
irresponsible disposal of trash.
This kind of approach and psychology is the
strategy of the Architectural development to promote
sustainability for the people and environment of
Barangay Pinagbuhatan hoping that it would greatly
take part in the citys movement towards a green
community.
