Part 1 – Atonement in Reconciliation of Mind, Body and Spirit:

Atonement gives reference to the penance we do. Our faith is a soulful fabric of
ongoing reparation. Expiation of the senses is payment in apology for ignorance in
confrontation with wisdom. For the saving grace of our own dignity, we explore strange
worlds of cerebral encounters, from the subconscious to conscious levels. Everything in
between, all around, up and down, thoughts walk in the midst of fact and fiction.
For the perseverance of liberation, in the uninhibited expression of individuality,
except for the consensus of reason, mastery claims the self-evolution of well-
differentiated presence. Enlightenment by personal resolve embraces the journey of
freedom through the acceptance of willful intentions. Each must accept the quest. Fear, as
well as cowardice, will encourage otherwise. No doubt, the anxiety will be painful, and
the physicality, along with the mindfulness, suffers likewise.
But for maturity in the growth of wisdom, to become a more transcendent version of
the original self, transformation must be given free reign. Of course, there will always be
consequences for differentiation of the wholeness. Realism is confounded, and no less
threatened by the herded press of myth, magic and mystery. Worse of all remain the
monsters of stupidity. Most will not survive, as devolution is more enticing.
The necessity of being diverse and arisen in higher intellectual capacity has
implications for a strenuous life. There will always be the face in the mirror. Of which the
struggle sees the reflection that is tainted or tempered by good and evil. Yet, mind over
matter means that such matters in the scheme of changing the self.
Separating fact from fiction chases the authenticity of essential veracity. The psychic
reach of intuitive discovery digs up evidentiary artifacts. Personal quests search for
intimate reconciliation with the ideations of mental processes that find successes, and rise
above ignorant foolishness and immature failures. Along the way, sacrifices are made, as
accountability demands responsibility. Becoming an individual is hard work.
No blame, no shame, no excuses, instead there is a comprehensive understanding of
essential concepts of noble selflessness. Meanwhile, responsibility for choices freely
made, not caused by external sources, experience the wide range of normal, deviant and
abnormal challenges, to learn by separating fantasy from actuality.

Being “at-one-ment” equals the heated sweat of tireless fortifications to enact inner
harmony and bring about a peaceful resolution of “spiritual warfare”. No easy task, the
difficulties experienced in the stupidities of modern times are thorns and thickets to be
overcome. Surrounding by dead people waiting to die does not offer many examples of
exemplary consideration. Exceptions always exist. An echo reverberates incessantly, few
will be found to share the commonality of the warrior’s adventure.
The “hero’s quest” is to return from the adventure an evolved well-differentiated
being on a higher level that before. Profound transition to an enlightened state of
transformation goes far beyond the mere template of a “hierarchy of needs”. Coming into
the knowledge of humble selflessness, warriors fight the true battle raging within. Of this,
the “holy war”, the “energetic transition”, or the “spiritual ascension”, is personal,
private and particular to each individual. No one can say differently.
It is one of a spiritual nature, with reference to the potent flux of psychodynamic
energy of profoundly complex neural excitation. That is of course if one chooses to be
excited about the daring and courageous possibilities. Such is a matter by which
individuality strives to embrace life and death, in temporal combat with the struggle
between certain mortality and the illusion of immortality.
Issues of living and dying haunt the persistent reflections where the verity of the
human quest accepts or denies its transformative processes. At the same time,
imagination, and in particular the depth of creativity, foster colorful stories of personal
inventiveness. Nonetheless, immature and regressive illusions, such a religious
extremism where thought is self-constrained, confound sensory truths. What is real
versus the surreal, or fact over fiction, is part of the warrior’s perseverance.
Cultures cross boundaries, beliefs invade societies, as communal consensus merge in a
vast trans-global scheme, which presently devolves to extinction. Values, ethics and
belief systems must evolve, change and adapt. Life is odd and unreal, but often inspiring.
Experience challenges the dreamlike state of thinking one thing, but knowing another.
Human nature is a bizarre creation. Species come and go, in the end, they always go the
way of previous life forms, into an unknown darkness of nothingness. Each dies off in
time and leaves not a trace behind. Soon, no one remembers or cares. Memories fade and
some wonder, what a particular person did with the amazing gift of a life.

Moving from the industrial innovations of a society, into age of information

technology, offers powerful ways to ascend. Life-styles and beliefs can transform by
exertion of creative perseverance in a never-ending stream of well-differentiated ascent.
Mature individualized liberation requires a distinct and unique separateness. Informed,
tested, evidence based and factual opinions reinforce transformative innovations in ways
that can be diverse and stretch the reaches of personality and imagination. Nonetheless,
human proclivities ought to strive to promote fantasies in pro-social fashions so that a
world of reality ensures the understanding of change.
Yet, unfortunately, such notions are wishful thinking, as thoughts of which stem from
the darkness of the Necrospace, or the sleep state, sometimes called dreams. From there,
arise the maladaptive intentions, the premeditations and the subsequent evils many freely
choose. Many times, in the realm of psychic energy exploration, the sense of normalcy
fades to abnormality and innate dangerous allures seductively. However, the carnal
potency can be harnessed. Normal gives way to abnormal and primal desires for the
satiation of personal proclivity, which portends a richness of creativity.
In the pale amber light of one’s quest, the crimson urge of the hero’s mythic adventure
offers liberation of intuitiveness. To become unveiled, give up pretenses, and embrace the
darkness requires courage. Most people, however, enjoy their cowardice. Oh yes, they
might flirt and flaunt their pretended openness and “selfie” enticements, spin a tale or two
about their alleged amative potency. They relish in a spicy story, or hint at liberated
exposure. At the end of the daylight, however, on the demand of showing the substance
of character, they shrink into the shadows of their fragile shallowness.
Lazy, foolish, and entwined in their own deceptions, each hides at the first
confrontation for the challenge of their authenticity. In daylight, an awakened state,
conformity accepts the anxieties of consensus, for any gain minus risk, the lurid
gratifications of gluttonous self-indulgence. Clothed in the illusions of supernatural
explanations for everything except the responsibility of truth, liberation dies to the
shackles of self-imposed enslavement. Customarily accepted habits and ideological
extremes find easy flirtations in seduction to devolving deviance. By contrast and
competition, a few valiant ones fight back, resist and oppose the conventional, for the
bravery of the unconventional. Some will fight the good fight of wiser insight.

Others, by contrast, forget it they will not fight. they will run at the first sight of
confrontation when seeing their own reflection. Conflict, collusions and conspiracies of
thought, motive and action collide in successive motions of cerebral eccentricities, and
personality unfolds. Ideations summon the challenge for change, but ignorance on
purpose precludes the attendant responsibility. Easy and simple are preferred.
Painless is much more to the liking, but painful stabs, cuts and rips are critical. That
marks the nature transition. It comes without end in worlds without cessation. Yet, it is
the endlessness, in contrast to physical cessation, that is perplexing and frightening to the
human species. As death wars against life, the journey from birth to demise, sowing and
growing, maturing and knowing, provokes the gasps of good and evil.
Transitions from transformation take place in dynamic patterns of perception,
realization and cognition, and ultimately choices. In addition, in the process, the inner
self struggles to pursue the attendant necessity of its own evolution to gain its wholeness.
However, for most, it is a matter of parasitic symbiosis to use and abuse others to make
whole the pieces of the fractured self. Such is doomed to defeat and devolution.
The making of reparations for one’s shortcomings, faults and fears, is a matter of
individual progression by warring liberation in the freedom of oneself. In a post-modern
society, the shallowness of intentional superficiality in the safety of one’s fears furthers
the degeneration. At a crossroad of ideas, cultures and contemporary notions, much of
tainted by mythic, magic and regressive metaphor, a few attempt the explanations that
search for life’s deeper meaning. Valiant ones pursue the essential matters of intuitive
personal relevance, for a mature understanding of human nature. With bravery, a small
number embrace the reality of their quest for what ultimately matters.
In the trek of human progress, growth and fruition, some will knowingly seek the
essential basis of their mirrored reflection. Duty, discipline and devotion serve at the core
of the human spirit in contrast to a so-called postmodern society. While the relevance of
many cultural, ethical and religious conventions can be questioned, there is a center for
psychic positive development of freely going one’s own way. Naturally, others will
object and offer resistance based on a nothing more than an illusion. That is, holding fast
to an invalid central core of ancient magic, presumed be truths, but unproven by the faith
of the faithless, perpetrated by a psychodrama of the supernatural.

Myth, magic and metaphor, erroneously presumed by the facetious conjecture of

fallacies of inference, foment hasty generalizations absent evidentiary validation to
become oppressive cannons of alleged orthodoxy. A claim of authority, where the
“expert” has never seen the battlefield, or engaged in the combat, nor experienced the
heights of psychophysical passion beyond wordy pretense, does not validate a claim. Yet,
for the sake of the illusion in the mystic perversions of some pontifical pseudoscience,
hope springs eternal in the deceptive superficiality of alleged truth.
The same can be said of some ancient principles and practices in a warrior’s tradition.
That is why the warrior must prove beyond doubt with sufficiency of evidence, what is
the best course of action for him or her. Historical reference points suggest a certain
endeavor to prevail, regardless of the challenges. Whether in codes of chivalry, or
precepts of bushido, a warrior spirit drives the quest for greater human comprehension by
balances and judicious introspection. What matters is the necessity of personal
transformation. Regardless of the sense of duty, discipline and devotion, miscalculation
and mistakes are part of the choices. Overcoming those is part of the process. From habit
to routine, understanding the questions before the answer is essential.
Gallantry grants the expectation of certain qualities. Ideally, the “knighthood” of
personal confidence in the passion of convictions, argues the attributes of courage, honor
and loyalty. Along with that, comes the persistence of dutiful diligence in the hard work
of self-evolution. It bows to respectful empathy for others, as the journey continues. For
many in post-modern times, there may be limited patience for such ancient duties. Yet,
special qualities attendant to the notions of “knighthood” beg for replication. Noble
behavior takes on the armor of many possible applications in various adventures in the
personal quest of life. There are numerous walks of the life adventure.
Braver persons may evolve for the courage of principles to outweigh the conformity of
maladaptive oppressions. Yet, warrior will not countenance dishonesty, cowardice or
subjugation. Freedom of the human is vital to personal survival. Key concepts write the
words of the warrior script in such thing as heroism, gallantry, courtliness, and courtesy.
The gracious expression of good manners, politeness and trustworthiness are essential to
the warrior’s sense of “noblesse oblige”. It is not wealth or materiality. In succinct
construction, it is the development of a humble and generous nature.

For some, leadership ascendency is this ideal. To that end, the idea of the samurai, in
terms of duty, discipline and devotion, conjures a unique mystic fascination with
allegiance to perfecting oneself. In a few realms of practical application, law enforcement
for instance, the ideas of obligation, responsibility, self-control and dedication, are a real
world application, extending from a long tradition of the public service ideal.
To a “warrior class” as opposed to a “guardianship”, the issues of mind and
subsequent behavior cross time barriers of a passion for voluntary service. Such is a
calling to a sense of duty to self and selflessness in service to others. In addition, as a
warrior within this conception, the practitioner relishes in the embodiment of ethical
precepts relating to self-discipline, courageous behavior and loyalty to principles in actual
practice. As a way of life, this bushido means in literal terms “military-knight-ways”.
Life is conducted as a profession, vocation and recreation. Such expression in human
manifestation takes upon the soul of the individual a code of conduct. A sense of
responsible decision-making in light of the darkness that is often distracting. Behavior,
although not perfect by any means, transforms over time into the appreciation of precepts
of moral principles. No doubt, given the unsteadiness of our human hands, we will touch
the forbidden, the taboo and deviant, and rise to higher ascendency.
We can strive to do better each time we falter. Seeking higher grounds of knowledge,
wisdom and enlightenment goes with the transcendence of the spiritual development.
Whether knight or samurai, one struggles to improve upon motives, intentions and desires
of personal action. We fight in overcoming the ease by which selfishness influences our
mental proclivities. Our shortcomings can be part of an overall learning process.
Behavior requires accountability and a willfulness to change.
Human nature is a duality of good and evil. A mixture of both in the pursuit of a life’s
quest. A holy grail of journeys, chasing the Jekyll-Hyde personality residing inside. And,
atonement begs the question for the failure to live in perfection. What are we toning for?
The “taking away” of what? Sin? What’s that? Who defines it? Who accepts it? Who said
it in the first place? Hmm, the many questions we’d like to ask whoever is ultimately in
charge. And so, whether by propitiation or expiation, who can really say? No one has all
the answers, or completely understands the questions. Much deception clouds the history
of beliefs and supported in the advent of misguided sacrificial offerings.

What does evil mean? The term could suggest that which is malicious, criminal, anti-
social, and downright dastardly dirty deeds at the expense of other people. Yet, such
reference points do not completely cover the depth and range of maladaptive behaviors.
From corporate and organized crime conspiracies, to political corruption, terrorism and
warfare, malevolent behaviors cover the gamut of human interactivity. Suggested here,
evil is premeditated, intentional malice aforethought that brings harm to others for self-
serving reasons. Selfishness for the satiation of personal needs is at the core.
For the brave ones, the valiant few, aside from the contemporary misdirection about
the “warrior vs. the guardian”, the selfless individual rises above immaturity and shuns
stupidity. In public service for instant, the essence of sacrifice for the servant-warrior is
one of personal transformation to higher states of ascendency. It is not a matter of looking
up, as it is a question of looking down and within for individual transition. Personal self-
discipline in overcoming the temptations of immature human tendencies is part of the
challenge for the individual as he or she travels through life.
In his or her atonement, one of self-motivation and not sectarian mythology, change is
inward toward greater psychodynamic liberation. Individually, reparations for personal
failures, mistakes and grievous errors are components of the roles played and the
acceptance of broader understanding of such consequences. Errors in thinking create
opportunities for others to suffer and onslaught for the strife of life. As a result, we come
to the crossroad of bringing the motions of life into harmony, balance and agreement.
And, while we’re at it, our personal conduct reflects our evolving personality.
While some beliefs are shared in the communal conventions of culture, others are
private matters. We span the pages of our history, from the abnormal to the deviant. And,
from the conventional to the bohemian. Your quest is different that another’s. Each goes
a separate way. You must decide which direction you will go. One’s personal
metaphysics is essentially that. It’s personal and follows a linkage in the sensual. Sexual
and spiritual connections of ideation, fantasy and fruition. Beliefs, values and attitudes
are the spiritual fabric by which we live and breathe. Thinking is crucial to what the brain
does. Looking inside that mirror is vital. Such notions of ideation also pertain to how we
face the challenges of obstacles, including the death process. All are dying at some point,
and the warrior fights back against his or her own deceptions.

Everyone has a viewpoint, for the many it is warped. And, we all have a system of
adherence to which we subscribe ourselves. Call it faith, conviction or principle, we
clutch at series of ideas thought to be guiding lights of goodness. In fact, some of us have
grasped the confidence of others to place our trust. We crowd around this guru or that
shaman, hoping for the definition of reality. Or, we easily accept the superficial assertions
of priests, politicians and the press. Yet, illusion of credence knows no boundaries. An
often fiction melts into fact making things difficult to figure which is which.
We can be fooled by the scams of the centuries. Allegory turns to fable and fairy tales
change to legends. And, stories of old become offerings for sacrifice as we approach the
cross of our convictions. For the warrior, as opposed the guardian, a belief system defines
the quest and how it is traveled. In the process, he or she decides the courses of action to
be taken. For better or for worse, accepting the responsibilities of life, the soldier keeps
close to the balance of the self. Being a warrior means understanding the difference
between a real war of physical combat, and one of spiritual evolution.
Non-practitioners, academic theoreticians and assorted armchair “experts” generally
rely on others for their philosophical notions, as to which pseudoscience or mythic
legends they might follow. However, most have been untested by the reality of
experiencing the pain, suffering and dangers of the real world. Yes, they might seem to
talk a good talk, but the insulation of pampered mediocrity proves nothing. Good and evil
are confronted in the spirituality of the eternal warfare of individuality, tempered by
imagination, creativity and selfless devotion to personal enrichment.
Of which, the warrior comprehends the difficulty in rising above evil. Over time, we
alter, adapt and configure our faithful notions into personal realities. Knighthood begets
the necessity of knowing oneself as thoroughly as possible. Our sense of life brings us to
the edge of doubt, and then we reconstruct the acceptable ideas that work in the real
world. Our models of thinking, doing and being are unique to each personality. No one
else can define that for us. Planes of demarcation are not consistently clear. Coming to
grips with self-identification takes time, toil and temperament. On occasion we get it.
Many times we don’t. Errors in thinking often cloud the judgment of motives, intentions
and cravings. Command, control and communications with ourselves are sometimes
allowed to befuddle the essential message of personal unity.

Togetherness, out of the darkness, senses form battle lines across the expansive
landscape of thoughts. Passing through the valleys of phases, life listens to the struggles
of the tempestuous spirit. Corrective measures in discerning the inner voices don’t always
conclude in the balance of the spirit. Shaking remnants of prior horrors lurk in the
shadowy haunts of primitive urges. Rising above the tumult of mental complexities, the
moral fiber struggles for growth. The inner self struggles in the fruition of moral fiber
spreading its soulful connectivity. In the primacy of maturing transition, willful ideation
unfolds in the determination of persistent fortitude.
The servant spirit conjures mental notations of something more than just mere
existence. You don’t just stand there and stare. Watch things go by. You have to get
involved in some aspect of the apparitions you witness. Learning your tendencies,
overcoming weaknesses and standing upon strengths, gels the consciousness to action.
Allows one to rise above the mundane. Overcome the fear of one’s humanity. To stand
out as a unique being in the great cosmic scheme of things, one needs be a positive
guiding light for others to follow. No doubt, there are leaders and there are followers.
Some will assert their command presence, while others will fall in behind the leadership
they perceive. Yet, not all is in stability with the equilibrium of life’s grand interactivity.
Dangers loom at every turn. Some choose the dark side of human motivations.
Speaking of the darkness within, and misguided notions about the distinction between
“warriors and guardians”, the idea of “warrior hood” frightens the uninitiated. Those who
have never truly experienced the terrors of human evil potentialities, whether in thought
or physical actuality, live in a kind of “hope springs eternal” cognitive bias of intentional
ignorance. Others, who would indulge such specious notions for the regressive
inclinations of public policy, have allied themselves with the hidden agenda of deceptive
politicians. Of “guardian” thinking, one is reduced to that of a caretaker.
By contrast, warriors fight the good fight for that which is right. Notions of personal
harmony, balance and awareness mold to the configuration of this focused ideation. It is
the giving of oneself in sacrificial devotion to a sense of public duty. Discipline goes with
that, as do physical, mental and spiritual discipline so that individuality intersects, merges
and becomes a unified oneness. What a concept? You mean, actually being of service to
others, instead of seeing every other person as a target of opportunity.

Self-evolving is an act of free will in selflessness, and it is not difficult to make

choices to ensure effective transformation. A part of that thinking and action rubric is a
matter of nobility in person magnanimity. Some might call the concept one of chivalry,
yet the idea is more misunderstood the actual ancient practice. That is where most of us
get into misdirection for personal interests. We often miss the precept due to the actions
of others who did what human do. Nevertheless, the idea of gallantry is alive and well in
those few brave souls who choose to transform themselves. Weakness, timidity and self-
indulgence have dulled the sharpness of the spiritual blade.
By contrast, the warrior spirit is a powerful definition of individual potency. It comes
in many forms, designs and energies. In addition, it has nothing to do with a personality
weakness, meekness or submissiveness. Warriors are not afraid to cast the first stone,
should that be necessary in communal conflict. On the contrary, such things are about
bravery across a broad spectrum of societal interactions. It is all about heroism in a
variety of situations, predicaments and environments.
As an example, for nearly seven hundred or more, samurai were both warrior and
servant in the practical application of duty, discipline and devotion. Yet, the mere
mention of such things seems foreign to many people in today’s post-modern world. Not
to mention of course, when a culture is devolving, many will easily forsake the hard work
of change or transformation. Never the less, the word itself is derived from anther tem
meaning “servant” or simple “to serve” and to be selfless in that servitude.
In modern American society, we have several examples. Two of these are
immediately applicable. Other aspects of society are noteworthy. Yet, in particular, these
two are critical to public and private safety. They reflect domestic as well as foreign
realities of living in a dangerously predatory world. These realms include the field of law
enforcement and the military services. Both organizations provide the basis of instilling
levels of duty, discipline and devotion with a “warrior concept’.
Unfortunately, both in and out of these services, from practitioners to non-
practitioners, there are detractors. Hence, one conjuration of that is the debater in public
service between “warriors” and “guardians”. Many do not understand the philosophical
ideals, and others are pushing a personal agenda. Without thoroughly understanding the
ethical precepts as a starting point, some will assert all manner of nebulous notions.

Overall, however, contrary to contentious schools of thought, one philosophical

perspective prefers the precepts of an ancient tradition. This of course is applied within
the modern context. They are the present-day embodiment of what can be called the
“warrior class”. Each member is expected to develop tactical, technical and interpersonal
skills. Participation in either group can be life threatening, perilous and antagonistic.
Individual and collective mindset must be seriously centered, well-honed and sharp-
edged. The “sword of the spirit”, or psychic energies, cuts in dual directions.
To overcome one’s selfishness is a process that involves the never-ending evolution of
training. A person has to be devoted to the idea that he or she will never learn everything,
and may in fact appreciate very little by the time of the end. Learning is a daily pathway
of coming to grips with selflessness. Looking inside is essentially more vital than being
distracted by the myriad diversions going on the outside. This does not mean that external
events are not observed. To know strengths and weaknesses becomes necessary to
personal transformation, tempered by the intuitive assessment of humility.
Yet, for the arrogance of ignorance, the practice of stupidity and failure to transform, a
person thinks more of their exaggeration of “self-worth”, or “self-esteem”, than they do
of extraordinary probabilities for selfless differentiation. The “warrior spirit” propels one
to succeed, press forward and rise above the mediocre, the old self and the preoccupation
of self-interests. From the energy flowing within, there is power to do more. You want to
ascend from the depths, once you have discovered the creative edge of the passion within.
In that discovery, how many personalities do you find in the multidimensional expanses
of thought? Most will fail to find the source of the voices, or know their faces.
As such, some go and climb high mountains and lead others to follow by evidence of
humble example. A strong feel of determination permeates the mental motions to apply
oneself to every aspect of everyday life. Although such an ideology does not develop
overnight. In fact, it may take a life-time for certain aspects to unfold. The light comes on
and one day you start to sort stuff out. It’s a matter of developing insight to the intuitive
processes within the mindset. And, although the mind is an illusion crated by the brain’s
complex chemistry, we understand the mysterious implications. As such, myth, magic
and metaphor become more psychically illuminated. Peering inside the darkness of the
soul’s special personality always points in many directions.

Beware the detractors, the frauds, the con artists and the foolish, those who malicious
contrive the myriad fallacies of inference to derive self-gratification for subjective
validation. There will consistently be a stream of various temptations. Each
confrontation, onslaught or condescending encroachment, will threaten without
boundaries, all manner of consequences. Especially, one must stay alert to the
exaggerations and dangers of religious ideologies. The adversaries of reason are many
and diverse. As such, the senses, and beyond the usual five or six, are bombarded with all
kinds of distractions, diversion and disinformation. Being focused on the right goals and
objectives require building up one’s strengths and maintaining freedom of will.
From time to time, we might wander from the trek of our endeavors. Not for very long
can we hide from ourselves. In time, sooner or later, we will be revealed. In various ways
and by varied means, we expose parts, facets and puzzle pieces of the inner self. Lurking
below the surface, our secret dimensions hold to the connectivity between the conscious
and subconscious realms. Ultimately, in the final selection process, we are responsible for
what we do. Sowing and reaping is a two-way transitional continuum.
Along the pathways, we meet ourselves in different disguises. The journey of each
person is unique and therefore associated with individual perceptions of reality. And,
while individual ideation is peculiar to one person in particular, internal and external
influences offer the possibilities choice. We compile psychic menus for the probability of
mental selection. Regardless, the warrior spirit beckons onward to the guiding principles
of right and wrong. Intuitively, we know the difference.
Psychic senses know the way of the warrior. On that passage, the voyage of
individuality, personal freedom is fought every day in many realms. Most will not be
equipped by mindset, temperament or personality to achieve such an association. Many
will be misguided by the distractions of the material world. Large segments of the
population will draw conclusions based on fallacies of inference about life, living and
death issues. Fables, urban legends and illusions will confounded even the most sage
among us. From such follies flow the mechanism for evil, chaos and human oppression.

call them to action. When we don’t need them, we neglect their service.

ancient times. Inside the sphere of the physical entity, resides the supernatural forces of
evolving fruition. Feast or famine, the perception records the travels through time and
space. Ideas come and go, form different images and linger for the nourishment of growth
and maturity. Glory comes to those who explore the inner self of willfulness, desires and
wants. Finding oneself looking in the mirror of the mind reflects the intuitive sense of
knowing the reality of who is looking back. The mind is but a metaphor.
Awareness, balance and cohesiveness of self form a triangle around the labored
intentions of compensation. Reparations for past deeds are done to repair the early
psychic incursions into errors of thinking. Erroneous motives intended for self-

force of will. Forget about the external influences. They get in the way. What’s really

alacrity attendant to the necessity of survival. Often, such things defy verbal expression.
Difficulty confounds the order of simplicity. Meanings become blurred in the progress.

restraint of focused direction. When challenges erupt and horror strikes, the thoughts
recoil in defense mechanisms. Opposition must be seen in the light of opportunity. So
that failure cannot withstand the success of the moment.

trickery of others, the warrior sees no boundaries as completely safe and secure.

Yet, reactivity lingers in the mist of adverse influences. Errors in thinking,
miscalculations and poorly selected options oppose wiser use of the senses. Ideation
deteriorates and loads the pressure of the purposes, fueled by fantasy. Atonement falters
until the moment of rational realization. Transience is vital, as things end more quickly
than expected. So, self-mastery becomes a lifelong endeavor. Such is a process that
warriors learn to live with, struggle over and strive to survive.
Faithfulness to oneself by uninhibited liberation extends from the strength of a
maturely evolving personality. Well-reasoned beliefs, tempered by credible evidence,
shed the light of confidence on the footpaths of self-reliance. It is a duty, discipline and
devotion to personal authenticity. The commitment to understanding the mysteries in the
paradox of human nature does not fear the dark places of the mind, or the schemes of the

to the discipline of oneself. On a very basic level, a starting point is the honest realization
of an unselfish aura of personal responsibility for what you think, say and do. Yes, many
will say they know this. Alternatively, much noise will be made as to how allegedly
insightful one might be, but often these are the lies of cognitive bias. In the pathological
arrogance of self-gratification, the majority around you are maliciously deceitful.
Unauthentic and selfish, cowards fear their own pursuit of freedom.

arrogance in superficiality of self-promotion perpetrates the stupidity of a devolving
culture. In opposition, a few seek their own passage in a private quest of “warrior hood”.
Not a bully, an oppressor or boorish antagonist, a humble warrior bravely seeks higher
realms of mindful transitions. Of which, he or she counters against the antagonists who
preach anti-thinking in the psychobabble of deterministic regressions.
Nor is the ronin of self-reliance of such malevolent character that he or she descends
to that of over-bearing snob who snubs others for the game of it all. Frequently, such
cowardice of personal nature lurks in sneaky places like unhallowed halls of academia or
enslaved corporate boardrooms. For the show of anti-presence, to get attention or claim
pretentiousness to “all-knowing” insight, as one who condescends and pushes people
around, the warrior shuns such foolishness. Physical is too precious.
For the one who contrives clever means to intimidate others by the pretense of
pseudo-intellectualism, conceit of resume’, size of physical presence, or extraordinary
claims of pseudoscience, the brave knight does not waste his or her time on such
insignificance. Either you have the presence of positive and productive persona or you do
not. Your belief system precedes you before you get there. Being a warrior is a matter of
existence, expressed in the actions of one’s creed and understanding the necessity of a
never-ending transformation. One cultivates purposeful worthiness.
At the same time, physical skills learn to work in cooperation with mental and
spiritual capacities. Martial training, learning and experience are multifaceted and require
a life-long persistence. At once, across a multidimensional framework, such devotion is a
thought system, an ideology, a lifestyle and a personification of personal presence.
Commitment to the perseverance of perfection in one’s nature is the pathway that follows
an adventurous perception of discovery.
It is not that of a whiny, sniveling, malcontented crybaby claim for self-indulgence for
“victimized” entitlement. Such a trek is not that of slothful spinelessness when
challenged by the vicissitudes of life. To press on is the call for atoning one’s inner self.
Unity of self summons the resolve to persist in finding out who we are. What we really
mean in life’s mix of meaningful things. A continuum of consciousness flows from the

wanted so desperately and wished to see, of a higher order, may remain forever elusive.
A reflection of another self, or, many selves, provokes the curious inquiry for living by
profound and confident inner thinking processes. In the chivalry of individual
knighthood, fortified by warrior precepts, the adherent walks in the metaphorical hill,
valleys and meadows of free will. Detractors and oppressor will argue differently.
In the reality of human nature, both good and evil, likewise noble and cannibalistic, to
climb lofty heights remain a struggle for personal identification. By wolf like predation,
others will oppose the one who seeks a better realm. Nevertheless, to linger in the fields
of doubt, failure and other self-motivated shortcomings for pity and ignorance, is to invite
defeat. The mask of the deception conceals the real motivations.
Prone to action based on skillful thought, the warrior pursues the goal for the sake of
the quest and personal transformation. Such individuals are drawn to the movement of
life’s constant motion. For some, there is hesitance at the moment of truth. Fearfulness
creeps into the curvature of conviction’s special place. Retreat in the face of life’s
problems is no excuse for not continuing the fight.
Regardless, the battle rages on. A survivor, a fighter, an explorer studies his or her
disposition, in the learning of intentions and discipline of temperament. Every effort,
good or bad, painful or pleasurable is of necessity to strengthen ethical fiber. Inside those
psychic energy streams, many aspects of self meet in the darkness, to further embrace the
warrior’s code in essential strengths of wisdom, benevolence, and courage.

feelings of rightness, cutting a distinction between good and evil. As opposed to
contemporary “experts”, who seem to know everything, knightly principles rely on real-
world experience coupled with exceptional learning and maturation. Always seeking to
climb the mountaintop of individual excellence, vitality is found in understanding that
falling short is part of the process. Cultivation of individuality is ongoing.
For those choosing to be loud, crude, rude and lewd, the samurai ignores the brutish
behaviors of juvenile foolishness at any level of opposition. Children come in all sizes
and shapes and often pretend to be adults. Coming to terms with the transitions, the
warrior studies his or her morphs beyond a three-dimensional capacity and into noble
ambitions for advanced ascendance. Modern times, of intolerance for tolerance, hearken
the herald of a more refined stealthier kind of knighthood.
Benevolence is a strong instigator for protecting and helping the weak, freeing the
oppressed and liberating the subjugation of repression. A warrior sometimes acts alone.
And, by being alone, there is solace in the quietness of solitude. In self-reliance, some
will stand against the contrivances of tyrannical conformity. Freedom asserts itself in the
process of liberation that calls out for maturity, reliability and trustworthiness. Repugnant
is the willful lazy regression by each generation to a witless weak existence.
Ronin, the “masterless samurai”, through independence of will and self-determination,
search the byways of modern “feudal” landscapes to oppose the oligarchies of deceit and
disinformation. The mission requires testing all things to find the truth, the meaning of
life and the purposes of one’s own creation. It is to become a better version than the
original dysfunctional self. By exceptional leadership ascendency warriors are revered
and hated at the same time, and often they are feared for who they are.
