Purpose
The Human Resources Management Plan provides all the details of Nail Salon employees
involved in any of area of Nail Salon project including; requirements, roles, and responsibilities.
This plan is prepared to confirm the successful launch, progression, and completion of the
project of Nail Salon.
Details of Human Resources Including in Nail Salon Project
Senior Manager
Role:
The senior manager supervises all daily tasks and projects within Nail Salon's
organization. Their direct reports are all workgroup leaders and all project managers.
Responsibilities

Ensure that all projects are properly maintained

Project Manager
Role
The project manager oversees a specific project within Nail Salon's organization. Their
direct reports are the deputy project manager, workgroup leaders, and all project team managers.
Responsibilities

Role

members.

Creating software requirements and design specifications, assigning software engineers,
and providing direction during the coding process
Quality assurance leader
Developing quality assurance plans and test plans, assigning quality assurance engineers,
managing the quality teams review of software, determining what tools will be used for quality
testing.
Configuration management leader
Manage all change control procedures, assign configuration management board members
ensure that conducted software changes are timely and efficient.
IT security leader
Develop software security standards, assign IT security team members, and ensure that
all software procedures meet Nail Salon's established security standards, monitor software
systems to ensure that they are kept secure

Ensure that Nail Salon's software system and its components are kept secure.

Successful training with work group leader on Nail Salon's IT security standard.
Personnel Termination Procedures
Nail Salon has established procedures for personnel termination. Senior Management has
the option of terminating an employee if it is deemed that an employee is unable to perform their
assigned task after numerous attempts to resolve the issue. The following steps must be taken
before an employee is terminated.
1. The employee must be made aware of their performance issues
2. The workgroup manager must work with the employee in attempt to resolve
performance issues
3. The project manager is made aware of the workgroup issues
4. The project manager meets with the workgroup manager and the employee of
concern

5. Senior management is made aware of the issues with the employee
6. Senior management determines if termination is an appropriate action
7. If termination is deemed appropriate, the employee is terminated

PART-II: PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN


Purpose
The purpose of the Procurement Management Plan is to describe all the processes and
procedures for procuring services from third parties. The need for procuring services may vary
from project to project. However, if procurement is needed, the policies outlined in this plan
must be adhered to.
Make or buy analysis
Nail Salon will determine if procurement services from third parties are needed based on
the following criteria:
1. It is deemed impossible for Nail Salon to perform the services internally
a. Nail Salon does not have the expertise level internally needed for completing a task
b. Nail Salon does not have enough employees with the ability to perform
2. It is more cost effective for Nail Salon to procure services than perform those services
internally

3. Nail Salon only needs certain skills for a short period of time and procuring would be the best
way to get the short term skills needed
Bid and Proposal Process
Nail Salon will use the following processes when dealing with third party bids and
proposals.

Bidding and Proposal Solicitation Process


A Request for Proposal (RFP must be submitted to third party suppliers when Nail Salon
has made the decision to solicit services from the third parties for reasons other than cost
efficiency. The RFP must coming the following:

A request for a description of similar projects the supplier has worked on.

Bid and Proposal Evaluation Process
The Project Manager must evaluate all proposals and bids received from prospective third
parties. Workgroup leaders issuing assignments to the selected third party should also be a part of
the evaluation process. Formal proposal sheets should be used during the process. Bids and
Proposals will be rated using the following criteria:

The supplier's project tanager must be a certified Project Manager Professional.


The supplier's organization must be more than 5 years established.
The supplier's past performance must be evaluated.
The supplier's understanding of Nail Salon's project needs.
The supplier's technical and financial capabilities.
The supplier's price for services.

Bid and Proposal Selection Process


Once all RFPs/RFQs have been evaluated the project manager must present top potential
suppliers to Senior Management. Senior Management will have the option of contacting each
supplier's Project Manager for further questioning. Once Senior Management has made their
decision as to which supplier to hire, the project manager will be contacted. From there, it is the
responsibility of the project manager to ensure that the third party is completely on board with
the project.
