layer independent way for the data link layer and for the network layer
and the transport layer for usage in Home and Building Electronic
Systems.
This European Standard defines the mandatory and optional requirements
for the medium independent communication over IP for HBES products
and systems, a multi-application bus system where the functions are
decentralised, distributed and linked through a common communication
process.

This European Standard defines the mandatory and optional requirements

for the medium specific Physical and Data Link Layer of Power Line Class 1
in its two variations PL110 and PL132.Data Link Layer interface and
general definitions, which are medium independent, are given in EN
50090-4-1.

This European Standard defines the requirements for the medium specific
physical and data link layer for HBES Class 1 Twisted Pair in its two
variations called TP0 and TP1.

The focus of this part of the EN 50090 lies on the description of the
requirements for the medium specific Physical and Data Link Layer of
Radio Frequency for HBES. It is used as a product family standard.

This international standard establishes general principles for network and

device management shared by and independent of the installation mode.
The goal is to standardize the interaction, between a management client
and a management server, that shall lead to the successful configuration
of the devices.

This standard contains specifications to the voltage characteristics in

public low, medium and high voltage distribution networks.

This standard applies to the radio disturbance suppression of industrial,

scientific, medical and domestic (radio-frequency) equipment and ISM rf
applications in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 400 GHz.

X
This standard deals with the limitation of the radio-frequency emission
(radio disturbance suppression) of information technology equipment (ITE)
and specifies the relevant limits and measuring methods.
This standard specifies requirements and associated test methods for the
immunity of information technology equipment (ITE). Particular test
conditions and performance criteria for particular kind of equipment are
contained in the normative annexes.

This publication applies to multimedia equipment (MME), intended

primarily for professional use and having a rated rms supply voltage not
exceeding 600 V. Objectives are to establish requirements which will
provide an adequate level of protection of the radio spectrum allowing
radio services to operate as intended in the frequency range 9 kHz to 400
GHz and to specify procedures to ensure reproducibility of measurement
and the repeatability of results.
Several transmission frame formats for use in telecontrol systems with
different hamming distance are specified.

This standard applies to telecontrol equipment and systems with coded bit
serial data transmission for monitoring and controlling geographically
widespread processes.
Purpose of the document is to standardize the transmission of integrated
totals representing the amount of electrical energy transferred between
power utilities, or between a power utility and independend producers on
a high voltage or medium voltage network as a part of energy
management system functionality.
The document applies to protection equipment with coded bit serial
transmission for exchanging data with control systems. It defines a
companion standard that enables interoperability between protection
equipment and devices of a control system in a substation.

This part of IEC 60870 applies to telecontrol equipment and systems with
coded bit serial data transmission for monitoring and controlling
geographically widespread processes. It defines a telecontrol companion
standard that enables interoperability among compatible telecontrol
equipment.
It specifies standard link transmission prodecures suitable for data
transmission within telecontrol systems. The defined procedures are
composed of dialog elements, with each element presented by a
transmission frame.
The document applies to telecontrol equipment and systems with coded
bit serial data transmission for monitoring and controlling geographically
widespread processes. It specifies rules for structuring application data
units in transmission frames of telecontrol systems.
The document applies to telecontrol equipment and systems with coded
bit serial data transmission for monitoring and controlling geographically

and presents a set of information elements, in particular digital and
analog process variables, that are frequently used in telecontrol
applications.

The document applies to telecontrol equipment and systems with coded

bit serial data transmission for monitoring and controlling geographically
widespread processes. It defines basic application functions that perform
standard procedures for telecontrol systems, i.e. application procedures
that reside beyond layer 7 (application layer) of the OSI basic reference
model for open communication systems.

The aim of pa rt 6 of the "Telecontrol Equipment and Systems" series is

the standardization of Functional Profiles for electric power systems. These
FPs are to provide the means for specifying complete, coherent, working
systems for end-to-end communication and interworking.

Particular items are given for ISO and ITU-T compatible protocols of
telecontrol equipment and systems and the use of standards which are
related to layers 1 through 4 of the ISO reference model.

The document defines the services provided by e teleconrol specific

application-service-element - the Telecontrol Application Service Element
No. 1 (TASE.1) - for exchange of process data in telecontrol systems.

The document specifies the protocol for the services provided by an

application-service-element - The Telecontrol Application Service Element
No. 1 (TASE.1) - to support the exchange of process data between
telecontrol systems.

The document specifies a method of exchanging time-critical control

center data through wide- and local-area networks using a full ISO
compliant protocol stack, by means of the Telecontrol Application Service
Element No. 2 (TASE.2). It contains provisions for supporting both
centralized and distributed architectures. The standard includes the
exchange of real-time data indications, control operations, time series
data, scheduling and accounting information, remote program control, and
event notification.

The functionale profile for ISO and ITU-T compatible protocols of

telecontrol equipment and systems defines the provision for the OSI
connection mode transport service between an end system ("Reference
End System") which uses a permanent analog or digital circuit to access a
packet switched data network (PSDN) and another end system
("Compatible End System") which is accessible, by permanent or switched
methods, either directly from the same PSDN, or indirectly through the
provided OSI-connection-mode network service.

The document deals with the application profile to be used with the
Telecontrol Application Service Element No. 1 (TASE.1). The functional
profile defines the provision of the TASE.1 communication services
between two Control Center End-systems. It is supported by the transport
services implemented in accordance with transport profiles defined for the
type of network that interconnect the control center end-systems. Largely
based on standards and profiles, it is defined which services and
functional units are required to support the services of TASE.1 from the
layers 5 to 7.

The document is an application-class profile for the Telecontrol Application

Service Element (TASE.2) providing inter-control center communications to
control center applications. It refines the application layer protocol to meet
interoperability requirements and specifies requirements on the
presentation and session layers support for TASE.2.

The document proposes object models from which to define object

instances and which represents objects for transfer through wide- and
local-area networks by means of a Telecontrol Application Service Element
No. 2 (TASE.2).

kHz) narrowband power line devices via alternating current and direct
current electric power lines. This standard supports indoor and outdoor
communications over low voltage line (line between transformer and
meter, less than 1000 V), through transformer low-voltage to mediumvoltage (1000 V up to 72 kV) and through transformer medium-voltage to
low-voltage power lines in both urban and in long distance (multikilometer) rural communications.

The scope of this standard is to define one medium access control (MAC)
and several physical layer (PHY) specifications for wireless connectivity for
fixed, portable, and moving stations (STAs) within a local area.

The protocol and compatible interconnection for data communication

devices using low-data-rate, low-power, and low-complexity short-range
radio frequency (RF) transmissions in a wireless personal area network
(WPAN) were defined in IEEE Std 802.15.4-2006. In this revision, the
market applicability of IEEE Std 802.15.4 is extended, the ambiguities in
the standard are removed, and the improvements learned from
implementations of IEEE Std 802.15.4-2006 are included.

This standard specifies the air interface, including the medium access
control layer (MAC) and physical layer (PHY), of combined fixed and
mobile point-to-multipoint broadband wireless access (BWA) systems
providing multiple services.

transparently to peer protocol entities that use the MAC Service provided
by IEEE 802 LANs to communicate. MAC security (MACsec) provides
connectionless user data confidentiality, frame data integrity, and data
origin authenticity.

A secure device identifier (DevID) is cryptographically bound to a device

and supports authentication of the devices identity. Locally significant
identities can be securely associated with an initial manufacturerprovisioned DevID and used in provisioning and authentication protocols
to allow a network administrator to establish the trustworthiness of a
device and select appropriate policies for transmission and reception of
data and control protocols to and from the device.

This standard specifies a common architecture, functional elements, and

protocols that support mutual authentication between the clients of ports
attached to the same LAN and that secure communication between the
ports, including the media access method independent protocols that are
used to discover and establish the security associations used by IEEE
802.1AE MAC Security.

WSDL is an XML format for describing network services as a set of

endpoints operating on messages containing either document-oriented or
procedure-oriented information. The operations and messages are
described abstractly, and then bound to a concrete network protocol and
message format to define an endpoint. Related concrete endpoints are
combined into abstract endpoints (services). WSDL is extensible to allow
description of endpoints and their messages regardless of what message
formats or network protocols are used to communicate, however, the only
bindings described in this document describe how to use WSDL in
conjunction with SOAP 1.1, HTTP GET/POST, and MIME.
