October 2016. DEVELOPMENT OF CLASS SCHEDULING AND
MONITORING SYSTEM OF THE COLLEGE OF INDUSTRIAL, INFORMATION
AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY. An Undergraduate Thesis.
Adviser:
The main objective of this study was to design and develop effective
computer software that will serve as information and monitoring system for the
College of Industrial, Information and Communication Technology of Naval State
University, Naval, Biliran, Philippines.
This study used the Spiral Model as mechanism in constructing the study.
The proponents gathered data from CIICT instructors to obtain the information
and suggestions about the Scheduling and Monitoring System and used these
data in building the necessary features of Scheduling and Monitoring System.
The findings of this study revealed that the respondents response on the
Scheduling and Monitoring System of the College of Industrial, Information and
Communication Technology department is still manual, and it based on the
respondents responses, features are added on the development of the
Scheduling and Monitoring System so as to meet interactivity between users and
the software as a key to use its feasibility.
Thus, the proponents recommended that a computer application-based
scheduling for CIICT is necessary for the efficiency of service, and that to
maintain the system both hardware and software requirements shall meet. For
the security and consistency of the system, Scheduling and Monitoring System
must be assigned a system administrator responsible for the security and
maintenance.
