Children, 9th School & 1st College)
Dear Sir,
Its a great pleasure to inform you that the Gregorian Debating Club is going
to organize a nine-day long national debate competition from 22 nd to 30th
September, 2016 titled JupiterSGHS 9 th National Debate Competition
2016, 16 teams for College Level, 20 teams for School Level (Class VIII -X)
and 16 teams for Children Level (Class V-VII) across the country are
expected to participate in this grand show of debate. Moreover this event is
going to enhance and furnish the potentiality of the young talents.

Rules & Regulations

Children Level Debate
1. Students from Class 5 to 7 are included in Children Level.
2. Debate will be held in Traditional Format.
3. Each team must have three members. No Iron-Manning will
be allowed.
4. Debate will be held in Knockout format.

School Level Debate

1. Students from Class 8 to 10 are included in School Level.
2. Debate will be held in Parliamentary Format.
3. Each team must have three members. No Iron-Manning will
be allowed.
4. Debate will be Tab-Format (Four Base Rounds).

College Level Debate

1. College students are included in College Level. HSC Batch2016 is not allowed to participate in this level.
2. Debate will be held in Parliamentary Format.
3. Each team must have three members. No Iron-Manning will
be allowed.
4. Debate will be Tab-Format (Four Base Rounds).

Olympiads
There will be two olympiads:
1. Bangla Olympiad
2. Social Science Olympiad
3. English Olympiad

1. Bangla literature & grammer related questions will be given

in Bangla Olympiads.
2. Social Science Olympiads will be based on three subjects:
Economics, History & World Affairs.
3. Students from Class-8 to 10 will be allowed to participate in
olympiads.

Wall Magazine
1. Each team will be consist of three members.
2. The size of wall magazine must be 5 feet * 3 feet.
3. This event is open for all school & college students.
4. The magazine should be nature based.

Barowary Debate
1. There will be two levels in this event: 1. School Barowary
2. College Barowary

2. Students of Class 8-10 will participate in School Barowary &

College Students will participate in college College Barowary.
Turn Coat:
(i) Junior Level (7-8)
(ii) Senior Level (Class 9-10)

Registration Process
1. Pre-registration link will be provided soon which will be
required only for Debate Competitions. Each institution can
register 2 teams for each level.
2. Registration fee is only applicable for School & College Level
Debate Competitions.
3. Registration fee must be sent via BKash.
4. Registration Fee:
1. Inter-School Debate: 600 BDT
2. Inter-College Debate: 600 BDT

No complains will be granted against the honorable

adjudicators result declaration. Gregorian Debating Club is
assuring the maximum neutrality & fairness through the
competition.
