3D Printing has been used for rapid prototyping, and now can be used for
printing jewelry, eye wears and other garments.
FutureofFashion
In fashion and luxury -embroidery, laces and other soft material can be
developed using innovative designs
3D Printing could revolutionize the fashion industry. 3D Printed clothes can
respond to the environment, Clothes that can change their shape and design
are possible to print.
But, before you scan it, print it and wear it -make sure you are not violating
any copyright or trade mark
Other than 3D printing cloths there are various other new innovative material
that fashion industry is working on. There are polymer threads ve times
thinner than human hair.
Textile industry in the U.S. is the 5th largest contributor to CO2 emissions in
the country.
While 3D Printing reduces wastage and make fashion industry a bit more
sustainable, there are materials such as Pinatex, the leather made of
pineapple ber. Fashionable fabric can be made out of milk, tea, and coee
beans
Researchers have also developed a coating for textiles that can heal itself, and
neutralize harmful chemicals. Such coatings are thin, less than a micron, so
they wouldnt be noticed in everyday wear and increase the lifecycle of
garments

Not sure How Indias current prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi can make
India a global super power by 2050, but there are very convincing arguments
that say India can never be a super power because how can we progress faster
when we are terribly slow to correct our ongoing deciencies.
PriceWaterhouse Coppers says that by 2050 China will have a GDP of $61
trillion to the U.S. $41 trillion and that looks good.
Lets talk about all the pressing issues that we are going to face by 2050
.
Make in India, Digital India, Smart Cities, all good. What are doing about
some of the real crisis situations that are already right in front of our eyes; and
just because media will not bring it on the front page so we as citizens of India
will not notice and politicians and governments have little interest in those
issue as we are not data-driven anyway; we are all media-driven. Good or bad,
if its on television and at prime time we get excited otherwise all crap.

Dams have run dry, water tanker maa is growing every day, more and more
states have been declared drought-aected. Considering the current economic
scenario, population growth and available natural resources scientists
conclude there is a high risk of severe water stress in much of an area that is
home to roughly half the worlds population.
.
PopulationBomb
The worlds population will reach 9.7 billion by 2050, the UN has reported,
and India will overtake China as the worlds most populous country by 2022.
The population of 28 African countries is expected to double by 2050.
.
India will be among the worst hit countries and face a large number of deaths
due to changes in diets and body weight from reduced crop productivity,
according to a new study on climate change led by the University of Oxford.
In India, it is roughly 1.3 million deaths a year in 2013. According to the
study, air pollution causes more deaths than other risk factors like
malnutrition, obesity, alcohol and drug abuse, and unsafe sex. The Global
Burden of Disease Project puts it as the fourth greatest risk behind high blood
pressure, dietary risks and smoking. In India, the problem this draws
particular attention is the practice of burning wood, dung, crop residues and
other materials for cooking and heating, and this indoor pollution is more
dangerous than outdoor pollution
So, through to 2050, this growth overshadows the emissions controls (in our
projections) and will lead to an increase in future air pollutant emissions in
2050 in India.
