RATIONALE

DepEd recognizes that appropriate use of technology is important for the efficient and effective delivery of its
mandate of providing quality education to its citizens: in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of its
programs and projects; and in communicating with all stakeholders. This session will explain ICT in Educationin
DepEd and the relevance of ICT literacy to teachers.

The over-all objective of the SLAC is to enhance awareness and skills of teachers in the use
