USING THE BOARD GAMES IN LEARNING

INTRODUCTION
The board games was always known to the children which was really interesting.In
attracting the pupils attention in learning.Pupils always get bored if the same tradition
ways used in the classroom.My pupils were from different background.The pupils only
spoke a few words in English as their low proficiency especially in vocabulary . As
result, the pupils lose their interest and found out learning English was stressful and
not enjoyable.The research was to find out the effectiveness in using the language
games in learning the vocabulary.
2.1 RASIONALE
The board games can bring the excitement in learning where the kids are
learning with a calm environment as there was no stress at all.. It was a welcome
break from the routine of the classroom for example chalk and talk that usually been
used by teacher. By using the language games, it helped pupils to make and sustain
the effort of learning.
3.1 VISION
Learning through games could encourage the operation of certain
psychological and intellectual factors which would facilitate communication heightened
self - esteem, motivation and spontaneity , reinforcing learning, improving intonation
and building confidence . Through the use of this language games, teacher was able
create various contexts in which students have to use the language to communicate ,
exchange information and express their opinion.
4.1 OBJEKTIVE
The objective of this games helps the pupils tap into different learning style or
intelligences
such
as
visual
/spatial,bodily/kinesthetic
musical,
became more successful at learning any subject.To gain pupils interest in learning
too.
