The Library of Congress is the national library of the United States. It is located in three buildings in
Washington, DC, and it is the largest library in the world and it holds the largest number of books, recordings,
photographs, maps and manuscripts. The head of the library is the Librarian of Congress.
The Library of Congress was established by Congress in 1800 and was housed in the United States
Capitol for most of the 19th century. During the War of 1812 most of the original collection of the books

Nowadays the library is open to the general public for academic research and tourists. Only those who

licence, state Identification Card or passport. However, only the members of Congress and the staff of the
Library of Congress can remove items from the library buildings. Today the librarys collection of more than
130 million items includes more than 29 million books and other printed materials in 460 languages, more
than 58 million manuscripts and the largest rare book collection in North America.

5. Camp The Green Valley is a camp for boys situated in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This incredible summer
camp is located on a gorgeous 3-mile long fresh water lake with 15 acres of space for activities which
