Acknowledgements
The researchers of this study would like to acknowledge the following persons and key
figures that were there, in one way or another, and throughout the whole process who provided
help to them. The researchers would like to give their immeasurable appreciation and deepest
gratitude for the assistance and support that made this research possible.
To God Almighty, no amount of thank yous and praises would be enough in glorifying
you. It was Him who showed us greatness and made sure that every battle is fought successfully.
The researchers are in awe for the wisdom He has provided and strength he lent for them in
pursuing the study. Thank you for unending love and we offer this to You.
To our parents who are behind the reason of our educational finances and striving hard
to achieve that sweet diploma. Mr. & Mrs. Carrera, Masbang, Paras, Reyes, Royupa, Soto,
Taberna and Tiongson who inspired us to keep going and achieve harder despite of all the
challenges that almost made us give up. For supporting, loving and taking care of us. This is for
you! We love you!
To our advisers, Mrs. Katherine S. Bacani who was later replaced by Mr. Ricardo
Chinito Salunga for the unending patience, for believing in our potential, for encouraging us
to do our best and for listening to our sentiments. They did not only served as our advisers but
much more of a friend, a facilitator and mentor. They are the reason that kept the researchers
going and going despite the challenges along the way.
To our dear panelists, Mr. Alain Andal, Mr. Carlos Buan and Mr. Jeff Tanganco who
lend a hand in making our research better. Each and every of their comments, insights and
lectures were given huge importance by the researchers. Also, their sayings and sermons to us
proved that they are there to pave way for benefits and not malevolence. The researchers would
like to give them their sincerest appreciation for they were the people who trimmed this study to
fulfillment and reaching its peak.
To our statisticians Mrs. Teresita Cruz and Mr. Rafael Del Rosario, a very warm thank
you to both of them. For the hard work, the lectures, the knowledge and the time despite having
busy schedules, Maam Tess and Sir Raf lent the researchers all efforts that can be given to
render the results and helped us in understanding that data. Miss Tess and Sir Raf were more than
statisticians in this study as they are the angels who delivered us to our success.
To Mr. Rodolfo De Guzman, our grammarian and proof-reader, for the time youve
exerted in furnishing our research paper. He was more than welcoming and were grateful for the
assurance that this paper would be read easily.
To Mr. Jerhenze Andrew De Luna who helped us in making the draft of our paper and
finding suited instruments and techniques for our data gathering.
To the authors of our test instruments in conducting our data gathering Mr. Charles
Carver for COPE and Mr. Arnold Bakker for the UWES who gave their permission for letting us
use their tools for free.
To these groups and friends, Central Assembly of God, Shekina Christian Community,
Ms. K. R. Sison, Janes ate and kuya, C.P.L., Tins sister, and Nicoles mom who were there at
one point in the process of our research making that theyve given their efforts in helping us
without hesitation.
To our significant others, specifically Q.E.D, E.P.C., P.J.D., and J.E.M. who were there
through the tough times and stressful situations. They served as one of the inspirations we have
and were our individual source of happiness. Thank you for being there.
To the companies who became part of our study, the success of this research is attributed
to your efforts in helping us reaching our quota. Also, to the J.Co., LA bakeshop and customer
service of SM City Clark where we bought our token of appreciation for the people who helped
us in this study.
To the high-tech gadgets of Gian and his starter pack, Pocket wi-fi of Ira, as well Janes
Samsung Note 4 for our daily reminders.
Lastly, to the class of P 401 and P 402 Batch 2016 as they were there to give us
encouragements and made us keep moving forward. Despite having their own hardships and
difficulties in their own theses, they didnt forget to give time for laughter, to motivate, to
acknowledge ones problems, to cheer up one another, to provide comfort and see to it that all is
well. Your time and presence are more than enough to show that you care for our well-being and
the results of this thesis.
