PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a Dumfries resident with a broad range of skills and experience. I have worked
customer facing roles in engineering, design and the construction industry. I also have great
analytical skills and a practical approach with a positive outlook, often thinking outide the box
to ensure a project is delivered successfully. My main focus is ensuring customer satisfaction
and profitability for my employer.

profile customers.
Sourcing and if neccessairy organising remanufacture of parts.
Processing orders with high accuracy.

Over 1million per year turn over.

Over 2015 managed to move Penman to one of the top performing on time deliveries
for a major customer.

Producing nests for laser cutting of steel parts, producing drawings for the factory
floor, attending the weekly manufacturing meeting to ensure the drawing office was on target.
I also produced quotations for boiler repairs and parts.

Promoted from CAD Technician to Draughsperson

Gined knowledge of manufactrring technicqes, methods and practicalities associated
with heavey industry
Worked closely with other departments, end user customers and expernal suppliers
to ensure final designs were exact to specification.
Established correct recording and library system for BS/EN/ISO standards.

Using architects drawings and site sizing to produce designs and quotations for timber house
kits, roof trusses, kitchens, timber windows, and uPVC products.
Key Achievements:

Designed the kitchen for the Scottish Family home of the year in 2006.
Developed my own pricing spreadsheets and systems to streamline quotations.
Managed the QMS to ISO9001 and obtained certification to Secure by Design for
several of our products.
