1.1The chair person thanked all the teachers who attended the
meeting.
She hoped that activities planned by this year will be carried out
succesfully.

1.1Pn.Noor Hafizah thanked to all the English teachers for attending
the meeting.
1.2She congratulated to all the teachers for their hard work and
wished them all the best for the new year 2012.
1.3She also hoped all the teachers will contribute something for the
students and school.

Confirmation of the previous minutes.

1.1 Pn Ritha proposed that the Minutes of the 4th meeting 2011 to be
passed. The proposal was seconded by Pn Haslina Hashim.

1.3Extra classes will be divided into 4 classes according to their

- Pupils would be exposed to writing techniques.
- Modules to be given to Level 2 teachers.

Learning and Teaching Strategies
9.1 Textbook/ Workbooks/ Grammar Book/ Exercise Books
Teachers are to get their textbooks and teacher guides from the SPBT
room.

10.1. Pn Azila briefed the teachers o Y2 KSSR English new syllabus
.She also explained the changes in the syllabus . She will also
prepare a file for KSSR Year 2 file for the panel.

10.2. Pn. Azila advised the Year 2 English teacher to prepare the
2012 Scheme of Work .
Activities for the Year 2012
11.1 English Day
11.1.1 Wednesday is still as our English Day.
11.1.2 The main objective of this day is to encourage students as
well as teachers
to speak the English language.
12.2 English Week
12.2.1 The activities will be discussed in the next meeting.
12.2.2 Diagnostic Year 6 Pn Ritha and Pn Noor Aini will set the
questions.
Matters Arrising.
11.1 Learn A Word A Day will be held on the 1 st and 3rd week of every
month.
11.2 Yearly Plan and Lesson Plan book need to submit on the 20 th
January 2012.
