screaming the truth about this. I'm calling for the firing of the supervisors who allowed the police to escort (aid
and abet in the commission of a crime) this mob.
Who gave the orders? Why were the orders given? If it was driven by the police union what will be done to the

4AREPUBLIC - May 21st, 2010 at 12:56 pm

My statement was purely hypothetical and in no way intended to dispute the facts as you presented them. My
intention was to inject a bit of irony because that is what I was thinking all along. "Routine procedure" and
"protect the protesters" (while also not in their jurisdiction) seemed contradictory and triggered my thought.

JODARK - May 21st, 2010 at 7:56 pm

If people in this country can't count on the government to protect their property when called, then there really
is no use for the current government.

I know that PDs aren't legally required to come stop a crime in progress, however if they aren't going to do it,
then it is beyond immoral and verges on criminal that a person can be prosecuted for defending it themselves.

GREG WILSON - May 21st, 2010 at 8:13 pm

I have a funny (it's funny now) story about Trigger-happy police. As freshmen in highschool, some of my
buddies were goofing off one day (it was during the week). The highschool had finals which only took half the
day, so we all got off that afternoon. They went to one of my friends' house, and, being only 14 or 15 at the time,
dressed up in faux-Army camo and started running in and out of the house, pretending to shoot at each other
with toy guns. Anyway, there was a grade school across the street from this house, and the kids were out on the
playground at recess at the time. An idiotic neighbor who had watched Bowling for Columbine no doubt, called
the police with news "they're gonna shoot up the school." (continued)

GREG WILSON - May 21st, 2010 at 8:13 pm

Within 5 minutes, the cops had the entire block surrounded w/ snipers 200 yds away. They blockaded the house
and forced my 3 friends on the ground. Thankfully, their mother had just come back from the store, so she could
help explain they were just goofing around. But think of what could have happened? One of my buds could have
thought the Swat team who charged the house to be joking or to be one of his friends. Had a Swat member seen
what at first glance appears to be a gun from someone in faux-camo coming around the corner of the garage,
might they have reacted poorly? (AKA shoot) Who knows?

Anyway, I can vouch for your statement. Cops are ready for action, especially in sleepy, suburban areas (much
like my town and Montgomery Cty are). Although trained, they are very, very raw and probably very
nervous/excited.

EDSKI - May 21st, 2010 at 8:14 pm

Don't underestimate the left. They may know nothing about personal responsibility or economics. But they
know politics.

I'm not sure this isn't all part of their plan. Obama got elected by basically running against Bush. He can't do
that in 2010, though he will try.

If the democrats keep the house and senate, any of the negative campaigning against republicans will sound as
empty and false as it actually is. He needs an enemy to demonize.

And a GOP controlled house or senate would fit that bill very nicely.

WANNABE - May 21st, 2010 at 8:14 pm

I for one will welcome it because it's becoming increasingly apparent that the will of the people is ignored, the

government subsidizing the sorry, pathetic excuse for a "government" they couldn't operate the traffic light
system on their own. There is no way in the world this federal District should be able to operate as an
autonomous government and every reason in the world why it IS a federal District of Columbia. Home rule was
the biggest scandal in DC history, they are a joke and abomination of public administration.

Teenage boy? What is he a wimp? I would have called every friend I know and they would have showed up

weapons growing up given to me by my parents with the purpose that I learn to defend myself. There would
have been plenty of protesters with chunks taken out of them and more on the way still to the ER if they had
showed up on my front lawn after I hit twelve.

This country has slid to abysmal levels. Thank god my dad died before he had to see this. Police escoting

THE NEO-MARXIST WILL DO THIS TO ANYONE THEY OPPOSE IN ONE OF THEIR BLUE CITIES. THIS IS THE

We are at war with the Federal Government but few realize it. An army of 500 people converged on the home of
a private citizen who happens to be a banker. No one was there to protect his family. Each state must now begin
to form malitias to protect our State Governments because the local and state police will not protect us against

I don't about TARP money for DC piglets, they are already on the federal welfare support system. DC is a federal
welfare entity, it has no sustainable source of revenue. In a civil uprising, you would prefer to deal with the DC

the operation going long enough for Sean Penn to make a guest appearance and bring a Hollywood cast to study

It is a crime to trespass, and being out numbered and threatened – lets just say they would think twice before
doing that again.

TRISHG - May 21st, 2010 at 8:38 pm

The same SEIU that tried physical intimidation of townhall member attendees. The same SEIU that boasted if
"reason didn't work with protestors, then physical force would. The same SEIU that has a representative visiting
the White House, often several times weekly, during the health care fiasco and other agendas of Obama. The
same SEIU that, with the help of Obama, seeks to end the secret ballot votes on wanting a union which would
give them the identity of any American worker who doesn't want them as a union—for physical attacks and
threats.

TRISHG - May 21st, 2010 at 8:38 pm

Makes you feel that Obama is the godfather and SEIU his soldiers, doesn't it ? Oh, and they make sure that
nobody that is allowed to be heard at the illegal immigration marches can be heard except the open border
advocates and illegal aliens attending. They dress up their lawyers in "white face", making a racist statement
but doing it in such a way as calling them "mimes", the MSM ignores that. These lawyers have whistles and get
as close to the person who is trying to speak against illegal immigration and blow them constantly, even
bumping into the person. When that didn't work with Roy Beck, one of them accused the black bodyguard of
assaulting them although no video showed anything but SEIU people doing the pushing.

country down the road to runination. That child was scared to death and his dad and other son left in the car
blocks away were being tested to the limits. I hope that hateful women and all of the other 499 protestors are
proud of themselves. They are protesting the wrong people. Freddie and Fannie and the left wing democrates
that pushed the housing fallout are the ones to blame. But this demonstrates how Obama has been able to use
hate and making other people the villians along with his Union friends so successful. If they hate the banks, wall
street, republicans, tea party members and others they are not focusing on the real villians. The police need to
be brought to task for this. One other thing – the owner of the home is a DEMOCRATE – so they DO NOT EVEN
understand who they are protesting. November will not get here soon enough and then 2012 will be a major
turnout against these types of thugs and their supporters.

I never thought about Police Unions in this light before. Since the SEIU is in control of most the Police, Federal
and State Bureaucrats who are under control of whatever party is in power, it would seem to me that they are a
part of government and not a private organization. This might mean that they should not be allowed to
participate in politcal campaigns via donating money and workers to man phone banks and such. What appears
that they did was to attack or threaten an individual citizen in the name of the State and Federal Government.
This is a scary path that might be unconstitutional.

What could happen is that someone will start popping the head off of a uniformed SEIU creep at each of these
events, randomly, just one at a time. Make them feel real confident about taking a union bus to a union shirted
presentation. They show up in predictable public places. There is lots of cover, lots of access and lots of egress.
Bolt action only, one shot, take it or leave it. And pass the torch to the next patriot. California is a perfect
environment for such behavior. Maybe the big deal union guys should wear red shirts so they are easier to
identify. Of course, I would never do such a thing myself, the system will clean itself up without any individual
initiative in the November elections. But Sean Penn might consider a starring role.

SEIU …….. is what is wrong with this picture? SEIU who had more visits with Obama in the White House than
anyone. SEIU Andy Stern and Babyface Obama emerging with huge smiles from a private meeting as the very
first official act of the newly nominated Democratic Presidential candidate, both gloating they both had a lot to
be happy about.

The Tea Party is mad but I am not sure they have figured out what exactly is making them so mad. It is the
growing control over their lives by public employee unions and their members.

Who has not experienced the hateful gauntlet having to submit to the masses of incompetent and underworked
Transportation Security Agency public employees with snotty attitudes who hold your very personal freedoms
in their petty, vindictive hands every time you fly. We don't see them as protecting us, but enjoying harassing
us. We pass through their "care" in total terror one false step and we are incarcerated in their bad attitude sense
of total power.

It used to be said the innocent have nothing to worry about growing state police powers; only the guilty. They
must not go through airport security. This government control over our lives with mean, bad attitude and
vindictive government workers is what is scaring our nation. SEIU stands for more and more and more of these
intrusions into our lives. SEIU scares the heck out of me and shows the terrorists did in fact win.

The government hired to protect, once they get an SEIU protected job will only terrorize us in the future. That is
what the Tea Party is all about.

BIGDADIO - May 21st, 2010 at 8:59 pm

STANMM - May 21st, 2010 at 9:00 pm

Maybe it is time to overthrow the entire corrupt system and get back to constitutional government.

DEPUTYMARSHAL - May 21st, 2010 at 2:00 pm

This is terrific! Eric Holder and the Justice Department will investigate and prosecute the lawbreakers. So the
BoA president will be taken into custody and summarily executed! Don't laugh… it is not out of the question. The
Nazi in Chief spoke of forming a civilian force equal to the military to secure the homeland. This is what he was
talking about. Remember when Congress and the Senate were trying to pass COMPREHENSIVE immigration
reform? Congresspeople and senators couldnt show their faces in townhall meetings for fear of being lynched.
They had better stand by for that to happen again. To describe this as surreal isn't nearly adequate. The DHS,
which has the sole responsibility of ensuring the nation's safety will not process federal law breakers?? Are they
sure this is the road they want to go down? The mensa member who made this statement had BETTER be gone
soon! HOLDER MUST GO.. Napolitano must GO. There is no better of example of why the second ammendment is
so important as this! November is too late. The REVOLUTION starts now

EDSKI - May 21st, 2010 at 9:01 pm

Is that the best you got? Advocating vigilantism? I have no proof to the contrary but I have a pretty good idea
that no banker put a gun to this lady's head and demanded she secure a loan she couldn't possibly pay off.

And to add insult to injury, she attempts to use the tragedy of her son's death to secure preferential treatment?
That is despicable and insults the memory of her son.

Bankers who obey the law are not crooks. And when politicians change the laws to benefit their chance for
reelection, who's the criminal, the banker who followed the law, or the politician that changed the rules for their
own gain.

If bankers are convicted of breaking the law, by all means, throw the book at them. If they didn't, you're simply
seething over classic class warfare, and that is unworthy of debate.

OBAMA? OR AXELROD?

MICHWOLVERINE - May 21st, 2010 at 9:02 pm

If those idiots came to my neighborhood, I'd turn the garden hose on them or turn my dog loose. How dare they
protest in a neighborhood. Maybe we should find out their names and Google their information. Afterall, I'm
sure they wouldn't mind if a bunch of us showed up and protested at their homes. Actually, they would probably
love the attention. Unfortunately, their neighbors would not. But, of course, with people like that, it's always
just about them.

Tea Party members along with any other concerned citizens need to begin organizing similar encounters using
the same tactics at the homes of the SEIU union leaders, AFL-CIO leaders and the organizations that sprang from
ACORN. People like these are cowards and if the tables were turned without them being tipped off they would
probably peee their little panties…even though its just Grandma And Grand-dad out there protesting the the

SWILKINS65 - May 21st, 2010 at 9:06 pm

So my tax dollars, which pay the salaries of the officers, buy the cars and fuel they used were spent to aide in a

the park patrons, cyclists or anyone else in their way. I wondered why they were out that way on Sunday
afternoon. Obnoxious and rude group of people.

Dear God, is this what our country is coming to? Thugs can assemble on your front lawn, with police escort no
less, and harass you, your family, damage your property, etc.? If this had been my home, they would have been
staring down the barrel of my shotgun, and since the police weren't in their jurisdiction, there wouldn't have
been thing one they could do about it. Lock and load, people.

I assume all the real Americans left in the country are waiting until the November elections before we get
physically involved in this? If SEIU and ACORN interfere with the November election and there is massive

what Hitler did. When is everyone going to admit what is happening in the country and start fighting back?

EDSKI - May 21st, 2010 at 9:11 pm

I'm on board, and doing my best to bring as many of the next generation along as possible.

I consider myself libertarian, which is also referred to as classic liberalism, because they left stole the definition
of liberal.

I pretty much agree with Madison entirely accept for his idea to write into the constitution, the authority for
the federal government to veto state laws.

I think what we're seeing now is that very principle being put into effect by the judicial system.

That has got to be stopped.

BILLINWESTCHESTER - May 21st, 2010 at 9:14 pm

There will be a world war soon…and we will have a Civil War here. The Democrats are being paid very good
money by foreign entities to destroy our cohesion. They will be fatally surprised when the real working class of
this country, the taxpayers, hang them for treason after having regretfully killed 50,000 or so thugs and
welfare leeches. And as for illegals: I definitely would not want to be them after the rebellion the Alinskyites
hope for occurs. It will not be the Constitution and Capitalism that fall.Instead, it will be the death knell of the
liberal-progressive wing of American politics. And since no leftist ideology has ever faded without committing
massive mass-murder beforehand, I'm afraid that many thousands of freedom-loving Americans will die first at
the hands of these SEIU and Alinskyite scumbags.

Arianna Huffington is from Greece, George Soros is from Hungary, and there are so many others similarly
installed or situated now to finance and encourage this sort of thing from all angles within our borders As far as
intent goes, someone please tell me how this is significantly different from the naturalized Pakistani man who
was arrested for trying to blow up Times Square and now is being considered to have his American citizenship
removed? If you are a family member of the young children who were terrorized by these Administration-
sanctioned union thugs on the lawn, and something violent had happened to them – which something
eventually will someday if these mobs are continued to be given the green light by our "leaders" by not being
arrested and prosecuted – then you tell me at the end of the day how a dead or injured child or other member of
the public is any different in a hospital grave or bed, than one injured or killed in Times Square or any other
terrorist location! It is time to put these slinking foreign-born aiders and abettors like Arianna Huffington and
George Soros on the hot seat, EVERY TIME they appear in public and before asking any other fluff questions, and
DEMAND of them exactly what they are trying to do to the people of this country? We should be damned to
allow ourselves to continue to be personally endangered by these people, or anyone! NO interviews about
ANYTHING except WHY they, and all others like them, are doing this to our innocent people! Expose them for
what they are! DEMAND IT! This thuggery has gone so far beyond the pale now, and if the media cannot be
trusted to report on this, then the ballot box and a new Administration and leadership in Washington is where
it's at!

FEDUP - May 21st, 2010 at 9:24 pm

EDSKI - May 21st, 2010 at 9:26 pm

Okay conservative, let's have this one out. Of course in a respectful, logical reasonable debate.

Suppose I don't like guns, which I don't, except for a Red Rider BB gun for stray cats in the back yard. Doesn't kill
them, but get's the point across.

If I lobby government demanding that since I (for the sake of argument) don't approve of guns, there fore no one
should have the right the bear arms, should government have the authority to tell you that you can't bear an
arm?

In my opinion no. And not just because of the second amendment. I don't believe government should have the
authority to make any of those decisions. Those are powers reserved for the states and the people.

Thomas Jefferson made what I thought was a great argument against the Bill of Rights. He said the problem is
future generations may come to view it as the only rights We The People have guaranteed under the
constitution, when in fact, we have all the natural rights granted by our creator.

If it's immoral for me to use government to take away your guns, why is it moral for you to take away my
prostitutes, provided we are in a mutually agreed upon contract?

As a 34 year police veteran I have never before heard of such a shameful use of police power. This should terrify

INDY1826 - May 21st, 2010 at 9:32 pm

For your first question, SEIU protesters are basically a group of trained monkeys (I dealt with them on a daily
basis, within my department) they don't do anything until they are told to by their handlers and their handlers
know exactly how far they can go. If it did get violent, the local department would be called in, of course, and
mutual aid would also be called in from neighboring departments but without knowing the make-up of the
departments I can only speculate how many officers that can be brought in, I would say the best they could do
would be to muster and deploy around 100 or so police officers in about an hour maybe another 100 disbursed
over the next 3-5 hrs. and that is if they have some large departments in the area that can send their
manpower over. That would leave the police at a 5:1 disadvantage for the first few hours but by that time, a
mob of 500 people can tear the place down.and then some. (that is where DCMPD made one of their biggest
mistake by not notifying the local PD of the event, as to deploy and prep for such an event. The other is escorting
them across state to begin with, that put a huge bullseye on DCMP.)

From what I got, the 14yr old son was home alone, the father was at his younger sons baseball game. The father
and the younger son did see what was going on past that I have no idea.

DCASE - May 21st, 2010 at 2:46 pm

well, our libertarian brother- to dismiss the 2nd amendment is pretty key of an omission, dontcha think?
Meaning it is codified in law. Jefferson was right in his argument- and the Bill of Rights did lead to the slippery
slope of the amendments- including the really bad 14th snuck in by the Progressives.

But society, in our opinion, has a duty- a moral, God given responsibility- to look after the the most vulnerable
in our society. Families are the first line of defense.
But laws regarding consumption of substances that are intoxicants- which have public safety ramifications- and
personal behavior such as soliciting prostitution-
should be undertaken with great caution. You do not want to overreach, but you do want to provide a
framework for a safe, and just society.

The 'anything goes' as long as it doesn't hurt me personally view of libertarianism can have huge unintended
consequences…

video of teh Phoenix police officer getting struck with a water bottle, I am sure your just as pissed as I was at the

in order to keep the cops from being called racist, no action was taken against the offenders that day. Best to you.

Google: "The 45 Stated Goals For The Communist Takeover Of America" and read the list. It's right out of the
"Democrat" (Commies in drag) playbook.

Also, Google: "The Sworn Affidavit Of Bishop Ron McRae" and read that as well. Then you'll have a much better
idea of just who and what the illegal Kenyan Muslim Marxist racist usurping White House squatter is.

Can someone please say way they were picketing the BofA executives' house? As far as I'm concerned someone
should be picketing BofA. not SEIU people but the average small business owner. BofA is resposible for destorying
hundreds of small business in the US and causing huge layoffs in the private sector.
Wake up tea party people – I don't agree with SEIU – but someone has to start holding BofA accountable.

INDY1826 - May 21st, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Little thing about SEIU, there are several private Emergency Services (police/security, fire and EMS)
companies in their union including Guardsmark, one of the largest private Emergency Services and security
firms. Many state and local employees in all branches are SEIU members, including dispatchers, secretaries,
nurses and so on. Many of the hospitals are SEIU staffed. SEIU is trying to unionize bank workers, including
Bank of America. BO' has his army, he's just looking for an excuse to release them.

BURNINGTREE - May 21st, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Big Brother is coming! He is here! Do you remember Obama's pledge, during the campaign, to have a citizens'
army (aka political police), funded as well as,and trained as well as the professional army? Well here is the
beginning. Unless we stop this now, the SEIU will be the Obarmy of America, aided by former ACORN workers,
off-duty cops, and frustrated NEA leftist teachers. That way he need not declare martial law when he figures out
a crisis to subvert the election process that will throw him out. He'll just call out his Obarmy of thugs to terrorize
everyone who is not politically correct. This is the most dangerous politician in American history, and if we
don't throw him and his hacks out at the ballot box, our freedom is at stake.

SIMTAX - May 21st, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Democrats who stood up and applauded calderon should be voted out this November. This is the only way it is
going to stop.

EDSKI - May 21st, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Thanks for the thoughtful response. The 'anything goes' stereotype is exactly what I'm debating you on.

Who gets to decide what is and what is not moral? And who gets to decide who gets to decide? To me that's the
question.

If the authority is invested in the constitution, then its not in the persons holding office. If its not, then the
authority is in the hands of people, and those people change. The current administration in Washington is proof
enough of why that's illisconceived.

As a libertarian I believe that authority is best invested in the individual. And by individual I don't mean
anything goes. I mean that authority is invested in the parents raising children, in the small business owners
providing jobs and products and services. Invested in We The People to run our own lives and communities.
Government only makes that more difficult.

Of course some people will make bad choices, that's life, and they will have to deal with it. If that means drugs
and prostitution for some, I imagine the reality would look much different with it legal and out in the open.

So it's not anything goes, its that in my opinion the individual is the most capable of making personal decisions.

GLOUCESTERONTHEDITCH - May 21st, 2010 at 10:03 pm

For the next DC Tea Party presentation, I recommend a full scale gallows be presented to the Speaker of the
House. The gallows can be brought in on a low boy heavy equipment hauler. The gallows should be installed in
the Rotunda such that hangings might be conducted at any hour without interruption for inclemency or rabble
rousing union mourners. And, in respect of those senior Senators and the very daft of the lot, an alternative
execution might be offered with a guillotine. The Kerry model will, of course, feature live execution with a large
sword–a messy business and whatnot but he has been around a very long time and is entitled to a certain
distinction.

I agree with other posters here about holding foreigners like Arianna Huffington accountable for incitement.
Every regime of intimidation in history has some "innocent" on the sidelines, stoking the flames of hatred from a
safe distance and letting others do their dirty work and letting their victims suffer. 'Oh, why it's naht meee,
Dahhhlink!' is not going to cut it after the bottomless pit of closed-minded hatred within the borders of sites like
the Huffington Post erupts in a larger way nationwide. It's sites like hers that have proven time and time again
in the past that they have no respect for people's personal privacy or freedom of speech. These people are setting
the nation's underbrush on fire and retreating to their Upper West Side salons, with their private planes ready if
their plans come to fruition. Questions need to be asked!

MARK - May 21st, 2010 at 10:06 pm

I have a good idea. Let's have the Tea Party go to Andy Stern's (SEIU) house, a couple thousand strong, and
protest at the doorstep of his house. Then, we find out the addresses of the Metro DC police officers and do the
same to them. Next we go to other SEIU-scumbags houses and protest there.
You see my thinking. We outnumber the liberal thugs. The way to fight back is simple. They protest one place
with 500 thugs, we protest their leaders house with 5,000 people. After a while they will think twice about
protesting a private citizen's house.

PAT - May 21st, 2010 at 10:06 pm

BACKFIRE. The DCMP and Union Thugs don't like the rich banker….HA, he and his 14 year old son should sue

infliction of emotional distress, assult on a minor, tresspass, etc.
If they can get any decent people on a jury, the banker and family will be RICHER!

result of the virtue of their victims.

well, that's why citizens unite- and pass laws…

And the informed citizenry has done so with regards to conscious altering substances. It will do the same with it's

they'll pass- or change- a law.
The real debate is if the citizenry has the RIGHT to deprive others of their personal freedoms. That's where this

_TRUTHTELLER_ - May 21st, 2010 at 3:07 pm

H m m m… any other examples where violence was officially sanctioned?

KRISTALLNACHT!
On the nights of November 9 and 10, rampaging mobs throughout Germany freely
attacked Jews in the street, in their homes and at their places of work and
worship. At least 96 Jews were killed and hundreds more injured, more than 1,000
synagogues were burned almost 7,500 Jewish businesses were destroyed, cemeteries and
schools were vandalized….

The official German position on these events, which were orchestrated by Goebbels,
was that they were "spontaneous outbursts". The Fuehrer proclaimed that such
demonstrations are not to be prepared or organized by the party, but so far as they
"originate spontaneously", they are not to be discouraged either."

As a cover-up, it was decided the Jews be blamed for this event, and since Jews were to
blame, they be held legally and financially responsible for the damages incurred by the
pogrom. Accordingly, a fine of 1 billion marks was levied for the slaying of a politician,
and 6 million marks paid to Jews by insurance companies was to be given to the state
coffers.

Kristallnacht turns out to be a crucial turning point in German policy regarding the Jews
is considered as the actual beginning of the Holocaust.

and all of the children and women killed. One shot thought the head while carrying her 10 month old child. If
they wanted to arrest David Koresh all they had to do was wait until he went to town to shop. Eric Holder is
irresponsible and his law officers are out of control.

LT SR - May 21st, 2010 at 10:13 pm

Sounds like Obama has his private army to do his bidding, which is the SEIU thugs, aided by DC police. Sounds
like a pretty sophisticated action. Did the White House help to coordinate this event? Who paid for this police
escort, to terrorize this neighborhood? Did the protestors ever suggest what they were protesting. But then if
Obama & Holder are not smart enough to read the Az bill, why would anyone expect these paid thugs to read
their own signs. Just get off the bus & follow the your instructions.

Agreed, its the point I decided to I was libertarian.

I don't want some one to have the authority to force me to live according to their morals, there fore I'd be a
hypocrite if I thought it moral to force people to live according to my morals.

Which means no one has the authority to force any one to do anything – speaking in hypotheticals here – ergo,
if some one wants to use drugs or procure prostitutes via mutually agreed upon contracts, why is it any of my
concern.

That does not mean I'm against all rules and government. As a community we can mutually agree on certain
basic rules, and I think completely agreeable to employ enforcement of those basic agreements.

Its when government moves beyond those basic premises, and starts dictating our lives that I have a problem.
I'll take care of raising my family myself.

maintained the payments on YOUR loan where WE paid for YOUR house. You SIGNED a CONTRACT that says
you promise to PAY US BACK. The fact that we are holder in due course of your loan is common practice in the
banking industry and it costs you nothing to change to whom you make your payments, nor have you lost a
friggin' dime from the fact that your loan has been sold from one lender to another. It happens. Get over it. Pay

If any protests should be going on, it should be started on the White House front-lawn, and congress. See how
much support they will get from DC-PD for an escort! hmmmm

I wouldn't hold my breath until that bank executive, who donated to the Obama campaign, decides to file
charges. These are carefully chosen soft targets who are more than likely, given SEIU's relationship with the
WH, complicit in staging these set pieces. They are just practicing folks.

I believe the Branch Davidian attack was approved by President Clinton. Although it has not been widely

still are progressives who do not respect our Constitutional rights. They are liars and criminals.

GROVER WILSON - May 21st, 2010 at 10:41 pm

It's time for normal Americans with a true understanding of history, economics, and freedom to take action and
organize protests against the SEIU. In fact, let's issue a protest that teaches these ignorant sheeple that the real
corporation that failed them is their government–which by the way, is a MONOPOLY (duh).

Yes, their government which encouraged through legislation such as the Community Reinvestment Act and so
forth (championed by Democrats) to force banks to loan money to people with no money down and low 500
credit scores. And if a bank didn't want to loan money because common sense shows that these buyers would
need at least a 20% down payment, these same thugs would protest the banks and call them racist. Grow up
people and start to look in the mirror for you do not know what you do nor have a clue in how business works. All
you want is free handouts and think it's okay to steal the wealth of others to get what you want then you go out
and protest when it doesn't work out as "planned" and blame it on capitalism. You who suffer from a total
misunderstanding to how free markets work where it has helped create a wealthy society where American once
led this world with electricity, internet, automobiles, airplanes, etc., but the reality of Socialism/Fascism is
based upon murdering over 120 million people to force people to agree to their principles (or lack thereof) and
then their economic planning led to food lines, poverty, starvation, and lowered the standard of living through
less productivity.

If unions are identified by one political philosophy, how are they legal in government? Are not the leaders of
local, state and federal governments voted into office based on political philosophy? If so, how can a union
whether its philosophy is right or left be allowed to unionize government workers? If one political party over the
decades extends rights to unions to assure their political beliefs are always in the forefront even they are out of
power, how is that legal in a democratically elected government? Does not a government union neutralize the
will of the people when its philosopy is not inline with the voters???????????????

Well folks, this is nothing new. You may find the following piece of history interresting:

"On August 9, 1932, the government decreed the death penalty for those convicted of ‘political’ murder. The
next night a band of Nazis invaded the home of a Communist worker in the Silesian village of Potempa and
stomped him to death, kicking his larynx to pieces. When the killer s were arrested, tried, and sentenced in
accordance with the new law, Hitler responded with threats and demonstrations. On Sept. 2, the killers were
freed by Hitler. "

"After years of preaching contradictions and of evading principles, these men were astonished to see the nation
conclude that man cannot live by principles, that reason is no guide to action, and that anything goes. The
moderates were helpless. The authorities were helpless. The killers were taking over. "

Leonard Peikoff – The Ominous Parallels

This time around, the monsters are going up against those of us who have a tradition of faith and love of liberty.
Most importantly, many of us have the will and the means to say NO in the only way that tyrants will ever
understand.

at least 4 crimes – and not one arrest? WTF, over? And it turns out they were "escorted" to the scene of their
crimes by DC cops?

Is the DC Metro PD now in the business of aiding and abetting criminal enterprises? The chief of that so-called
"police department" should be fired immediately, as should the so-called "officers of the law" who permitted this
outrageous assault on a persons personal property and family. Had this been my property, those cops would

And the way to get that is emulate the storming of the Bastille at every turn, as if receiving then defaulting on

The Tea Party people have been made out to be horrible people for gathering and demanding OUR
REPRISENTATIVES R E A D the bills they sign into law. These SEIU people are nothing more than thugs
recruited to intimidate anyone and any buisness they're ordered to. This is nothing more than the tactics used
by unions years ago to intimidate and seize power. The days of our need for unions is rapidly passing. When the
union you're part of destroys your job and your country's buisnesses then they are no longer a part of what
represents this country's and your best interests. This incident was just SEIU's way of intimidating the bank.
Let's see who has visited the White House the most these past 16 months. Will the SEIU people get investigated
for their strong arm tactics? No. They're part of the corrupt group that was elected to washington. And
Washington will sell US down the river to keep power.

the seiu and their ilk are thugs, intruders, and losers of the highest order. if i had 500, or 50, or 5 protesters on
MY property, doing whatever kind of anti-social activity it is that they do, all of them wouldve witnessed the up-
close and personal experience of seeing a homeowner, who PAYS his mortgage, defending his home. no repeated
entreaties to , "please leave, youre trespassing." no, "i disagree with your position, but i hear you." just a very
simple, "get off my land, right now." it wouldve been amusing to see them scrambling over each other, like the
untermensch they are, to avoid getting shot. kinda like watching cockroaches in a public housing basement.

Using valuable police time and tax payers' money to do so. If the administration had a hand in this there needs
to be an investigation.

TRUSPEEK - May 21st, 2010 at 11:50 pm

This is wrong on so many levels that it is very scary. Who, now, can trust the DC police to protect anyone if they
have sold their loyalty to this scurrilous, brown-shirted "paublic" union (actually shown to be MOST loyal to
Nobama and his troops). Who can, indeed, even trust this Nobama administration to the degree that THEY
MUST HAVE KNOWN WHAT WAS GOING TO TAKE PLACE.

AMERICA! WAKE UP, YOU ARE LOSING YOUR RIGHTS AND THEY WILL DEMONSTRATE AGAINST YOU IF YOU
DO NOT AGREE WITH THEM. THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU WANT, THEY ARE TAKING AWAY YOUR
VOICE, YOUR FREEDOM , YOUR RIGHTS AND YOUR LIFE, IF NEED BE.

Perhaps some should find out the addresses of the goons from SEIU and do the same to their homes and families.
Welcome to Obamaland. Bob Dylan had it right about unions in his song several years ago "Sundown For the
Unions" But be patient fellow Americans; November 2010 is just around the corner. Then comes November
2012 when America gets the White House back.

CRAIG MORRIS - May 21st, 2010 at 11:53 pm

It is the right of any american to peacefully protest against injustice. Greg Baer and people like him have
destroyed the economy and are living in luxury while the true unemployment rate is in the 17% to 20% range.
He deserves a lot more than a peaceful protest. I hope more protests are planned against the arrogant elite who
are the enemy of the american people.

BILL - May 21st, 2010 at 11:53 pm

What a disgrace. Just thnk about it. The SEUI. State employee who have bullshit makework jobs and are totally

This is why our founding fathers gave us the Second Ammendment of the Constitution of the United States of

property. These thugs represented a clear and present danger.

JULIE - May 21st, 2010 at 11:56 pm

You're absolutely correct Josie. What goes around, comes around. Unions have a long history of corruption and
thuggery and what else would you expect from people who are losing their "power"

BLUTO152 - May 21st, 2010 at 11:56 pm

HADENUF - May 21st, 2010 at 5:01 pm

THe nation probably would be up in arms if they knew about it. I never saw a word on the news about this. I
watch Glenn Beck to find out what is going on and that's where I first saw it. OUR MSM IS PITIFUL AND NOT
DOING THE JOB THEY SHOULD BE DOING. I understand that the Fortune Magazine writer who broke this
story and is a neighbor of this Banker is having SEIU trouble now too. We are in for the fight of our lives and we
had better remember that. There is a reason union THUGS like this administration and it has nothing to do with
workers' rights. It has to do with governmental power and influence. Meantime union workers keep handing
over their money in dues, realizing very little for it, but you can bet Andy Stern is living high. BTW, from what
I heard on Beck's show, this wasn't the only stop on this joyride, for these thugs to stop and terrorize. THANK
GOD FOR BECK!

How totalitarian of you. You are an imbecile. And I mean that in the nicest way. How you could equate
protesting a policy, with protesting an individual BY a union, is unheard of. Please try to rationally justify it. Or
you could just idiotically describe your conspiracies. Your choice.

POPMODAL - May 22nd, 2010 at 12:01 am

Who paid for the buses? Are these union members getting paid? Did they get time off of their union gigs to
organize this protest? How many of these union thugs own homes? How many of them, who do own their own
homes, have failed to make the payments? Is this a shake down demonstration to convince Bank of America to
privately bail-out Shore Bank in Chicago?

BRYANF - May 22nd, 2010 at 12:02 am

What if this scenario occurred and the homeowner took steps to force the protestors off his property I personally

DC cops reacted then?

What the homeowner needs to do is turn on the sprinklers and the union mob thugs will scatter like cockroaches

MALIK_NIDAL - May 22nd, 2010 at 12:06 am

In Texas, the threatened homeowner could legally open fire on this violent mob who'd invaded and were
vandalizing his property.

But, in places like DC or MD, if the homeowner merely displayed a firearm, he's looking at jail time.

I won't live in places like DC or MD, because I don't like mob rule abetted by a politically-correct bloated police-
state.

Carry a gun and pay no taxes.

GLOUCESTERONTHEDITCH - May 21st, 2010 at 5:06 pm

Many commenters on this thread have indicated a ready willingness to introduce firearms into the scenario, it
is a problem derived from lack of training and information about the use of lethal weapons in a matter of
defense. If you are a firearm owner, please read Massad Ayoob's information about being InThe Gravest
Extreme. If there is ANY way to avoid using a firearm, it is always a better choice than using a firearm.
Whatever is possible to avoid the conflict will always be better than shooting another person. Look around and
read before you find yourself in a situation requiring self
defense,http://www.recguns.com/Sources/GravExt.html is a start.

Armed and out of jurisdiction, participating in the harrssment of a private citizen, the armed part of an armed
mob. As they abetted this, They're as wrong as the thugs they "escorted".

Please try this in Fla. or Texas – the "castle rule" would solve this problem.

You are mistaken. They are not legally required to stop any crime. They often do but you can't require them to
put their a$$ on the line to protect a civilian. Most (not all) wouldn't poke their heads out from behind a brick
wall to stop a gunman killing preschoolers. Protect and Serve has become a slogan and nothing more. The
current militarization of police all around the country has become a violation of The Posse Comitatus Act IMO.
Draw your own conclusions.

What was SEIU protesting? The fact that Bank of America had cancelled housing contracts with ACORN
Housing, and wants all those people who got mortgages they didn't qualify for to keep the houses and the
taxpayers pay for them. I'll bet the BOA executive doesn't say anything, however. The BOA is politically correct,

Preparation is a very good thing. Better to prepare now while folks still can. "Senator" Calderon wants to prohibit
weapon sales in the US. He calls them assault weapons. There is no such thing as an assault weapon, they are
just weapons. I don't even dislike Mexicans. They just need to read the instructions and follow the program. I do,
however, dislike unions. I'd gladly trade 15 buses of Mexicans for those union warts who went to a residential
neighborhood to resolve a problem that has an appropriate remedy in a court of law.

HADENUF - May 22nd, 2010 at 12:18 am

Nick – Then don't use a bank. It's a choice. You don't have to do business with a bank. There is an entire sub-
culture in this county that does all their banking at the check cashing store. No bank. Oh, yeah, Obama just did
away with the payday loans, so maybe they will have to use a bank now.
And perhaps this lady forgot the piece of paper she signed at the closing of the mortgage that the lender has the
right to sell the loan. She had a choice. Agree or don't. Of course, she would not have been given the loan, but it's
her choice. Or, go to a lender who keeps the loans in-house. They are many of those, but you can't get 95%
financing. You actually have to be able to afford the house you're buying.

I'm not calling for total repeal of all drug laws, but how many billions has the US spent on the drug war,
compared to how successful it's worked?

It's an attempt to legislate morality, no different from prohibition in the early 1900's.

It does not work, so why do we keep trying?

NOPARTY2 - May 22nd, 2010 at 12:37 am

Union Thugs and the DC Police, now that tops the Black Panthers outside the Philly polling both in terms of
harassment and intimidation. Who in DC authorized that waste of their taxpayers money….or did the OK come
from higher up? Did they bring pitchforks like Obama suggested? I guess the crime rate in DC must be pretty
low when they can aid and abet Union thugs in frightening the taxpayers of another district. The police should
be ashamed of themselves….but then again, they too are unionized…and they carry guns, not pitchforks. This is
not a good thing.

racial disparity between black, brown and white. We have Obama standing in solidarity with authoritarian
countries against the lawful integrity of the United States of America. The shame this man is trying to libel our

"The primary role of the Washington cops in this event was to protect the protesters."

That is an absolutely ASTOUNDING statement. The police viewed their job as protecting the mob, while
simultaneously denying ANY protection to the homeowner–or his child?? Just what did the cops imagine that
they were going to "protect" the protesters FROM? A law-abiding citizen defending his home and family? This is
an obscene, egregious–and chilling–abuse of power. And most chilling of all is the gaggle of useful idiots who
actually condone the tactics of jackbooted thugs.

loaning money to people who knew they could never afford the homes they were in. Mind-boggling
irresponsibility on their part. I don't care one rip about any of their sob stories. Maybe next time, the greed they
see will be when they look in the mirror, rather than blaming someone else. But then again, if they do that,
then they can't play the Bush/Cheney card, or the race card either.

Any thoughts or ideas on this?

NOTE TO WEBSITE: Do you think someone could add OBAMA to the correct spelling list so we don't get a red-line
every time we type his name. My word the man has been president for 16 months…or maybe you think he won't
be in office long enough to add him to the list

I advise patience. They are getting careless now, and will ratchet up the pressure, and become even more
reckless as they become overconfident. Draw them into the trap. Eventually, they will make that fatal mistake,
and the action can start. But let them make the first move, then we will have every right to go after them.

Peeper, unfortunately, you are not exaggerating the facts. It may be called something else, but intimidation,
"re-education", and and rule by Presidential Decree, I mean executive order, signing statement, and
administrative rule instead of laws and supreme court decisions is the way we are government. The "media
watchdog" are part of the system of control now. Remember Chris Mathews' the night Obama was elected? "It's
my job to see he [Obama] succeeds. That's the way the MSM who elected him feels.

I am a unionized officer also (Fraternal Order of Police – not SEIU affiliated). I am not a big union person and am
only part of the union because the department is a union shop. I will say that the FOP is about a conservative as
unions get but there are many things that even the FOP does that I do not agree with. In regards to this
incident, I think that the vast majority of officers in most areas of the US would have a major problem with
what happened. I know I think that the conduct was unethical. The problem is that the order probably came
from the top down. The officers were probably ordered to do the escort and the officers have to decide if the order
is worth possibly losing their job or getting disciplined for not following orders. I don't know if this is the case, but
I know it is not uncommon for officers to be ordered to do things that may not illegal but are also not ethical. I
personally would have taken the discipline and fought it but I can't speak for all officers.

Heavens!!!!!
Obama promised to "change America".
Certainly did!!!

1 . The government took over GM and gave a part of the company to unions..
2. Jammed a un-popular billion $$$ socialistc health care plan down our throats. Increased the national debt,
and spent more $$$ in less than a year than the past 4 administrations did in 16 years.

3. Hauled bank presidents, business owners and officials from a foreign corporation(BP) in front of congress,
there bascially treating them as criminals.

FU SEIU! - May 22nd, 2010 at 1:33 am

I don't think the SEIU would pull this in Virginia – land of the 2nd amendment and concealed carry. When 500
people trespass across your lawn and try to break in your house, an armed response is probably appropriate.
Why this banker simply didn't drive over them on his lawn I don't know. These little fascists know what they're
getting into.

BOBOJ - May 22nd, 2010 at 1:33 am

Followup to "Heavens":

4. Wants a 'comprehensive immigration plan" This plan means to allow as many folks from south of the border
into the U.s., grant the 11 million illegals in the country provisional citizenship, right to vote, social benefits.
(Right to vote. . . .means just about a guarantee that Obama will be elected for a second term.
5. According to Obama, there are no "radical muslim terroists".
6. Staffed our government (at an executive level) with tax evaders and known anti-american believers.
7. A U.S. President who Cowtows to foreign leaders and aplogizes for US "transgressions".

Is he changing America???? You bet your butt he is, and just wait to see how much more he will change it until
we are right in line with europe, socialists, marxists and communists.

Regime Change.

If the Tea Party members did something similar to the private residence of one of the union bosses, you can be
sure that union thugs would have been there in a heartbeat to bash heads, and the main stream media would be
talking about the violent Tea Party members. For those of you who know a little history, recall how Hitler and
his brown shirts gained power by staging protests and blaming the Jews for Germany's problems. SEIU members
are now Obama's brown shirts, and the banks and Wall Street are the modern-day version of the Jews. (The
saddest part of all of this is that a large number of Jews supported Obama's election to the presidency.)

I just love reading the hypocritical comments on this article. On one hand, you have people bitching about bank
bailouts and overpaid bank CEO's who contributed to this bad economy, and then, on the other hand, you have
those SAME PEOPLE conveniently now complaining when protesters show up at one of these people's homes. I
remember Tea Party members protesting out in front of CEO homes in Connecticut just last year. Don't get all
up in arms just because YOU ALL happen to share the same viewpoint and suddenly realize that this POPULIST
CAUSE is bigger than just the Tea Party. (GASP) Don't be upset that there are people who are as upset as you are
about the things that are going on in the country. We all have so much in common in terms of being disgusted.
How can you be so blinded by your party or group label as to ignore what YOU and THESE PROTESTERS have in
common? If you really want to start a movement that lives and grows beyond 2009-2010, then you are going
to have to reach out to those whom you SURPRISINGLY have much in common with and not turn your nose up
just because these are SEIU protesters. You are no better than the people who call you Teabaggers if you choose
to be so hypocritical.

But the more I read into this, the more this thing seems to be some type of show to see if Obama has what he

Something just isn't sitting right with this. There are a lot of things that just aren't fitting. The lack of reaction

MARK H - May 22nd, 2010 at 2:31 am

AS the US wakes from its Obama slumber, we are starting to see how Unions, fed, and state and municipal
workers have screwed us. When those benefits are curtailed or these govt entities run out of our money, the
thugs at SEIU and others will act as those in Greece. Then the payors and makers will have to defend themselves
from the takers. Obama wants more takers. This is beginning to be a gun powder barrel waiting to blow. The
American who believes in the real America (based on Constitution) will not stand for this lawlessness.

last I heard this was supposed to be a "free country"? "stop the influx of pot"? lol if you are scared of pot you must
also be scared of reality. Reality is is that POT or Marijuana has been proven by over 1000 studies to be
harmless, they still cannot link cancer to even the smoke from it. Pharmaceuticles kill more people than
Alchohol, Marijuana has killed no-one ever. You are quick to call liberal policies fascist like yet Fascism is
conservative by definition. I dont remember Hitler giving away healthcare, or letting people smoke pot. But
you sir(or thing) are a fascist for advocating taking our freedoms away(like choices to smoke pot) "freedoms and
liberties were intended to be of personal nature and relevent to citizens. The new conservative(nazi) movement
is advocating that corporations should enjoy freedoms and liberties to scam scheem and swindle but I dont have
the choice to smoke pot?…. gimme a break. This Banker that scammed millions should live in fear; as any crook

PATRIOT act and prosecute these people for terrorism.
USPATRIOT - May 22nd, 2010 at 3:12 am
Absolutely. Organized terror tactics. We now live in a Marxist state. Canadian border agents (US) are throwing
their weight around with Canadian tourists. They will stop coming here. Heard video of thugs going after
Canadian couple who said they were going shopping at a mall and could name a specific store. Kept harassing
them for no reason. I have seen union thugs up close and personal – and that is an accurate description from
their actions. Just another way to take money from workers for doing nothing.

lucky that we didnt have pitchforks and shotguns with us because although our laws make it so White collar
criminals like him can never be prosecuted through corporate loopholes doesnt mean he didnt steal millions of
homes from WORKING families. This man is a CRIMINAL not a respectable citizen minding his own business

allowed. They would never be allowed to operate if we were.110 million homes of WORKING people taken and no

The man had a right to arms in his house. Imagine if the 14 year-old locked inside pointed a semi auto outside
and began plugging these filthy pieces of garbage. Police helping radical leftists in our streets that is Hugo
Chavez stuff. What next: Police helping La-Raza oppose the Arizona immigration law? This is utter rubbish. Not
since mobs took up hanging African Americans across the South has rule of law been insulted like this. D.C's
Metro Police Chief must be fired now for letting his happen. If Attorney General Eric Holder does not step into
this and press charges against those in the D.C. police force who did this, the Right in this country will have no
option but to consider this Administration condones using Police to attack those in society that do not support
Obama's radical leftist agenda. Is this a sign of Administration desperation? Is it a sign Obama's followers are
revolutionaries as Glenn Beck claims?

The question is what now?

Demand the police personnel behind this are arrested immediately and charged with aiding and abetting
terroristic threatening. As party to an act of terror against innocent members of society once convicted they
should be sent to Gitmo…

Something wrong with this picture? Yes! Surprising? NO! The DC Metropolitan police aren't a police force as
much as they are a band of hooligans for hire. They represent the far left liberal establishment and take orders
only from them. Why was there no answer to the suspicious 'suicide of Vince Foster? Chandra Levy's murder
went without any suspects till the Metro police found an illegal Salvadoran immigrant patsy to dish it onto. So is
this recent Metro thug patrol surprising? NO, not at all.

the mob?

ANJO - May 21st, 2010 at 9:10 pm

I can't think of a single thing the SEIU has ever done for me. On the other hand, Bank of America has helped me
finance my home, four rental properties and my business, all at reasonable interest rates and with great
customer service. But then again, I did pay them back and I didn't take out loans to go on vacation or buy a new
car every five years. Did Bank of America take advantage of a bunch of spendthrifts? I don't know, but if they
hadn't someone would have. As the saying goes, "A fool and his money are soon parted."

TAXPAYER1234 - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:12 am

And I bet the cops would haul you in and charge you with sprinkler assault, or assault with a wet weapon, or
some such nonsense.

WHKELLER - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:12 am

Over 10 million weapons sold since the Big O was elected. If 500 a$$holes terrorized my son, they would have
taken a few away in a body bag. Honestly, I am certain that's the intent, to spark true violence. I suspect that,
soon enough, they will get their wish.

MJOLNIR - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:13 am

The neighbors would have had everyone on their face…either willingly, or permanently…

And the Texas Trooper would have pulled off his his Ray-Bans, leaned over the DC cops, and said something
extremely pithy and to the point…

Then the offenders would have been marched to some deep south lockup…to meet "No Neck" and his gang of
freaks…

KELLEY - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:14 am

Does anyone remember when Scare Force One strafed Wall Street TWO DAYS before Obama the White House
'negotiated' onerous terms on the lenders to General Motors by letting the UAW step ahead of the lenders in a
bankruptcy proceedings?

This intimidation of the banker's family is more of the same…more 1933 type behavior.

ALEC RAWLS - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:14 am

Shouldn't the DC police be arrested for participating in the illegal protest. They were specifically there only to
protect the protesters (which apparently they did not have jurisdiction to do). That makes them part of the
protest, which violated the law. Were the officers stationary? Presumably. They should all be arrested and
charged.

TAXPAYER1234 - May 21st, 2010 at 9:14 pm

CARDINAL_FANG - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:19 am

But it still doesn't change the fact that they didn't do anything to correct the situation. I have no sympathy for

CARDINAL_FANG - May 22nd, 2010 at 4:27 am

Violent invasion of property that the property owner believes represents an imminent danger to themselves or
their family, like that done here by the SEIU, can be legitimately resisted by the property owner with deadly
force.
