Instructions for Filling the Application Form Under Regulations 43/ 32

Application Form, Instructions for filling the form and other details can be
downloaded form official Website: www.cea.nic.in of Central Electricity
Authority

Application Format Form-A is applicable for all the electrical installations

including DG sets and Form-B is for all Overhead Transmission Lines for
inspection under Regulation 43 and Regulation 32

3.

Application Format Form-C is applicable for periodical inspection of all the

electrical installations under Regulation 30.

4.

Ensure that all the columns of the Application Form are filled.

5.

Application for inspection of Installations shall be submitted at least one month in

advance of expected date of completion of works to the concerned RIO.

6.

One copy of the Application form for inspection of installations up to 132 kV

with list of equipments to be inspected only (without other enclosures) and the
installations above 132 kV with enclosures shall be submitted to the Chief
Engineer (EI) & Chief Electrical Inspector to the Govt. of India, Central
Electricity Authority, Electrical Inspectorate Division, 6th Floor, Sewa Bhawan,

The Periodicity of Inspections: The periodicity of inspection is as below;

(i)
Installations above 650V
- within 2 Years
(ii)
Installations above 250V and upto 650
- within 4 Years
