Introduction
This Project is about the electric engineering and has three main parts the first part
talk about the history of the study of electricity around of the century, the second
talk about of the branches of this engineering, and the third part talk about the
applications of this in different situations. Finally, the conclusion about the
importance of this profession.
Objective
The objective of this project is to announce the importance of the electric
engineering for prevent errors and confusion with another occupation.
Hypothesis
If the people in general terms, get more information about this profession they not
will have errors and confusion with others occupations.
Research questions

What is the electrical engineering?

What is the difference between electrical and electronics engineering?
What is the difference between electrician and electrical engineer?

Methodology
the methods used were an extensive investigation of the electrical engineering
concepts in addition to electrician and electronic engineering were investigated, the
branches of this engineering were investigated
Part 1 origins of electric engineering
Introduction
In this part of the investigation is a historical, this part is about the evolution of this
engineering from his creation to the actuality and at the same time compere with
another terms with t is often confused

Development
The electricity was a subject of study of scientific in the 17 th Century. Probably the
first electrical engineer was William Gilbert who design the versorium, a machine
that detected objects statically loaded, he was the first in make the difference
between statically electricity and magnetic electricity and he invented the term
electricity
In the 19th Century the electrical engineering was a great impulse with the
investigation in this area. In 1827 Georg Ohm measured the relation between the
electric current and potential difference in a conductive. In 1831 Michael Faraday
discover the electromagnetic induction.
According to Ruiz (2001) In 1873, Maxwell met investigations in the field of
electricity and magnetism of great scientists such as Coulomb, Ampere, Ohm,
Gauss, Faraday and published the mathematical rules governing electromagnetic
interactions.
James Clerk Maxwell published these investigations in one unified theory of
electricity and magnetism in 1873.
In this years many universities open the electrical engineering as a new career and
not as a branch of the physic
In 1882 Thomas Edison turns on the first electric energy web of 110 volts of
continuous current in Manhattan. In 1887 Nikola Tesla devised a distribution
system of electric energy know as alternate current, this caused conflict with
Edison and his continuous current.
In 1888 Heinrich Hertz showed the existence of radio waves although Lawrence
discover that possibility in math works in 1850. In 1897, Karl Ferdinand Braun who
according Fraile Mora (2006) was Nobel Prize of Physic of 1909 introduced the
cathode ray tube as part of an oscilloscope, a technology that is crucial to the
development of television. Later John Fleming invented the diode, two years later
Robert von Lieben and Lee de Forest development the triode and in 1895
Giblielmo Marconi promotes the hertzian wireless methods

In 1920 Albert Hull development the magnetron that leads to the development of
the microwave oven by Percy Spencer in 1946. In 1934 the British army used the
magnetron to development of the radar.
In 1941 Konrad Zuse presents the first computer programmable and functional with
electromagnetics parts. In 1943 Tommy Flowers design and build an equipment
functional, Electronic, Digital and programmable was named Colossus. This
equipment contributed to the project Apollo of the NASA.

Conclusion
This history of the electric engineering shows the importance of this in many areas
and projects as the television, as the radio, as the computers, as the man in the
moon.

Glossary
Engineering the art or science of making practical application of the knowledge of
pure sciences, as physics or chemistry, as in the construction of engines, bridges,
buildings, mines, ships, and chemical plants.
Electric current the time rate of flow of electric charge, in the direction that a
positive moving charge would take and having magnitude equal to the quantity of
charge per unit time: measured in amperes
Electrician a person who installs, operates, maintains, or repairs electric devices
or electrical wiring
Engineer a person trained and skilled in the design, construction, and use of
engines or machines, or in any of various branches of engineering: a mechanical
engineer; a civil engineer.
Electronics (used with a plural verb) electronic devices, circuits, or systems
developed through electronics
radio wave an electromagnetic wave having a wavelength between 1 millimeter
and 30,000 meters, or a frequency between 10 kilohertz and 300,000 megahertz.
electric charge one of the basic properties of the elementary particles of matter
giving rise to all electric and magnetic forces and interactions. The two kinds of
charge are given negative and positive algebraic signs: measured in coulombs.
Magnetron a two-element vacuum tube in which the flow of electrons is under the
influence of an external magnetic field, used to generate extremely short radio
waves.
electromagnetic induction the induction of an electromotive force by the motion
of a conductor across a magnetic field or by a change in magnetic flux in a
magnetic field
