Promoted to direct quality assurance program and operations, with goal of revitalizing operations function. Accountable
for training, customer satisfaction, ISO 9001 compliance, supply chain management, domestic and foreign product defect
tracking and corrective action, product reliability testing, occupational health compliance, hazardous materials control,
and state and federal environmental law compliance.
Key Accomplishments:
Changed mainstream business processes to support goal, which involved redirecting scheduling, procurement,
and manufacturing, and inspection training of operations personnel.
Created a database to track ageing of customer-owned service inventory to ensure adherence to FIFO guidelines.
Following two-week trial and training period, repair time reduced from 13 to 7 days for all programmer units.
