POINT Command
Creates a point object

DIVIDE Command (D)

Places evenly spaced point objects or blocks along the length or perimeter of an object

MEASURE Command (M)

Places point objects or blocks at measured intervals on an object

HATCH Command
Fills an enclosed area or selected objects with a hatch pattern, solid fill, or gradient fill

REGION Command
Converts an object that encloses an area into a region object

TEXT Command
Creates a single-line text object

MTEXT Command
Creates paragraphs of text as a single multiline text (mtext) object

2. Modify Objects: Change Existing Objects

ERASE Command (E)
Removes objects from a drawing

COPY Command (C)

Copies objects a specified distance in a specified direction

MIRROR Command (M)

3. Dimensions
The basic types of dimensioning are

Linear
Radial (radius and diameter)
Angular
Arc Length

Linear dimensions can be horizontal, vertical, aligned, rotated, baseline, or continued (chained). Some examples are shown in the illustration.
