YAMUNA BIODIVERSITY PARK NEW DELHI

INTRODUCTION:
Biodiversity park is Emerging as the capital's most visited public place and
prominent
center for learning and understanding the environment, the Yamuna Biodiverstity
Park
has become a home for biologically rich wetlands, grassland communities, a wide
variety of fruit yielding species and an abundance of medicinal herbs. The Park also
comprises a native flora and fauna which used to exist a 100 years ago and then
became extinct locally. It further, acts as a natural conservation site for specific
group of
endangered plants.
AIM:
To analyze multiple activities taking place at yamuna biodiversity park new delhi.
OBJECTIVE:
To understand the relation between ecological system and recreational activities.
To analyze the recreational activities and eco friendly river front development.
To analyze the conservation of biodiversity with recreational activities.
SCOPE & LIMITATIONS:
This dissertation follows the study of recreational activities taking place at yamuna
biodiversity park new delhi in the current situations & problems faced by
comutters.

METHODOLOGY:
Study the concept of biodiversity park in urban areas and their significance in

Delhi master plan.


Data collection from various sources e.g. authority office, library .
Case study
Identification of the problems.
Questionnaire
Conclusions

CHAPTER 1: OVERVIEW:The chapter include the aim and objective of the study with scope and
methodology followed.

CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE STUDY:The chapter cover the introduction for biodiversity parks their potential and
significance
in general and the significance of biodiversity park in Delhi master plan .
and In this chapter I comprises the Data collected from various sources e.g. authority
office,
library etc.

CHAPTER 3: CASE STUDY:This chapter covers the case study of

Aravalli

biodiversity park new delhi.

CHAPTER 4: YAMUNA BIODIVERSITY PARK NEW DELHI :This chapter covers the yamuna biodiversity park, the chapter covers the location
layout and introduction of its built and open areas, hard and soft pave areas.
and the various issues regarding to the commuters.

CHAPTER 5: DEVELOPMENT OF COMUNITY NEAR THE SITE :The chapter describe the Relationship between the Local Community and
yamuna
biodiversity park , activities in and around the site, its present state of
conservation,
visitors and users profile, visitors facilities and statistic, factors affecting the
property.

CHAPTER 6: CONCLUSION :This chapter covers the conclusions obtained by the whole study of the dissertation
project.

SITE AREA :site area - 457 acres.
