GUIDELINES FOR QUIZ BEE

Each team must be composed of three (3) participants per team.


The coverage are the following; General information, Current events, and Criminology topics.
The questions will only be repeated twice.
The questions should be answered within 30 seconds only.
Answer only when the committee instructed GO.
Answers must be written in the answer board given by the facilitators.
Answers for the previous number should be raised before the Quiz Master proceeds to the next question;
otherwise it will not be entertained.
The score will be written in the manila paper, assisted by the committee.
Point system: Easy (10 questions 1 point each), Average (10 questions 3 points each), difficult (10
questions 5 points each) and clincher round is for tie breaking (5 points)
Players should be there half hour before the activity started.
In difficult questions, there are no choices.
No Participants should be under the influence of alcohol, Illegal drugs, and other similar substances are
allowed to join the activity.
No profane and other offensive words are allowed.
Strictly No cellular phones are allowed.
Strictly No Coaching in any forms.

Note: Any violation of the above rules will be subjected immediately for disqualification of their teams.
GUIDELINES FOR SPEECH CHOIR:
All teams are required to join the contest.
Each team shall compose of at least a minimum of 10 members and maximum of 15 members.
The teams shall choose its own piece, and the encoded copy shall be submitted to the committee for the
judges.
A minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes performance including the entrance and exit
shall be applied.
One point deduction shall be made for every 30-seconds excess during the performance.
The decision of the board of judges is final and non-appealable.

GUIDELINES FOR ACOUSTIC BAND:


All teams are required to participate.
The group should have a minimum of three (3) participants and a maximum of five (5).
No outsiders or professional member/s of the band allowed being a part of the group. Automatic
disqualification in the contest if the group fails to follow.
The group must prepare a total of three (3) songs of their own choice; it can be an original piece or a
cover. They are required to bring their own musical instruments during the contest.

They will be given only 20 minute each performance, including the set up of instruments. Time is of
essence. One (1) point will be deducted in every minute of excess.
Judges decision is final and irrevocable.

GUIDELINES FOR MODERN DANCE:


All teams are required to participate.
Each group shall be composed a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of ten (10) participants. Members
of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any combination thereof. Two (2) points are
deducted if there are excess or deficient in number of participants.
No outsiders or professional dancer/s allowed being a part of the group. Automatic disqualification in
the contest if the group fails to follow.
The group must be at the contest area on time. Failure to come on time will receive one (1) point
deduction to the total score.

Music may be recorded or acapela only. If recorded, it must be submitted to the committee in charge one
