MMDST REPORT
Patient: Marjorie Anuver
Age: 4 y.o. (4 years, 4 months, 24 days)
Marjorie Anuver, who goes by the name Marjorie, is a 4 year old girl
currently on the developmental stage of Pre-school going through the crisis
initiative versus guilt. As every other preschoolers, her significant other is her
family. The child has normally mastered the sense of autonomy but will feel guilty
when the parents will make them know and feel that they did something
unacceptable. For Marjorie, even the first time we met, her actions shows
autonomy and it is obvious that she loves her sweet family dearly. She is very
sweet and is not very shy. She is talkative, curious and likes to ask a lot of
questions.
During the actual performance of MMDST, Marjorie did very well. For
someone at 4 years old, although at some tasks she had difficulties, she was able
to do and pass most of the tasks properly and fast enough. Her age is 4 years 4
months and 24 days, based on the testing date. On the Personal-Social lane, she
was able to do the tasks like buttons up,washes and dries hand, dresses with
supervision etc. She failed on the task to dress up without supervision because she
still relies on her mother to dress up.
On the second lane, Fine Motor adaptive, she was almost able to pass all that was
on her line, except for the task to draw a man in three parts and copying the circle.
Basing on her drawing, she still cannot draw a man nor copy a proper circle.
As for the Language lane, she was able to pass all that was on her line but we had
a bit of difficulty because she was hesitant on some of her answers. She would
look at her mother first before answering or doing some of the tasks at hand. We
would just change some of the words or prepositions until she gets it right. We tried
to advance her 1 box ahead, which is to recognize the 3 colors, but she was not
able to do it because she was not yet familiar with the colors.
For the Gross Motor lane, she had a difficult time balancing on one foot in 10
seconds, but she was able to do it for 5 seconds and do the rest of the tasks in her
lane.
As a child who is already going to school, it is still very important for the guardians
supervision and teaching so the child will learn more other than attending school.
Marjorie was able to perform the tasks she had to do and has 3 failures so far, one
for Personal-Social, one for Fine-Motor Adaptive, and one for the Gross motor.
Although she wasnt able to do all the tasks perfectly, it doesnt entirely affect the
other lanes nor their answers. The test result is normal.
