Intelligent Output Management

InterForm400 is an Output Management solution which gives you total freedom in designing, handling and
distributing documents. InterForm400 handles the entire document workflow of your iSeries without any
requirement for re-programming of your applications. InterForm400 automatically selects e-forms based on
print data or spool attributes and is distributed in various ways.
InterForm400 has been developed continuously since 1985 based purely on customer requirements and
feedback. This has resulted in a functional, intuitive, flexible and, most importantly, stable product - allowing
you to focus on your core business.

Format your print in any way you like directly on your green screen or in our state-of-the art graphical design
tool. Repositioning, rotation, copying, selection of new fonts or transformation to barcodes, are just some of
text formatting features.
Conditional formatting is also possible,
enabling handling of e.g. floating text.
Editing forms e.g. logos, telephone or fax
numbers - is done centrally, in an instant.

Barcoding

Include images like JPG/JPEG, TIFF, GIF and BMP in the output of InterForm400. The images can be either
fixed, inserted conditionally or you can even make InterForm400 select the images dynamically (on the fly)
from either the IFS or even an HTTP image server. In this way you can e.g. include images of your referred
products directly in your business documents.

Intelligent Output Management - Convert SCS, AFPDS, IPDS print files into
formatted output and distribute output in various ways with InterForm400.

Intelligent output management

With InterForm400s workflow processor AutoFormsControl, you
can significantly improve the efficiency of business document
distribution based on the recipients preferences by converting
manual distribution processes into automated electronic processes.

Printers supported
You can connect any printer to InterForm400 directly from the
iSeries or through our WinPrint module, which allows USB, LAN and
parallel-port printers to be connected. You do not need a SIMM
module, any AFP/IPDS related product or any special interfaces.
Optimized printing processes use macros at the beginning of each
print job, which minimizes the amount of data transferred and CPU
cycles used. With InterForm400, you can connect as many printers
as you like - topscore is 5000 printers.

Database look-up
Enrich spool data quickly and easily by using the database retrieval
functionality, which allows you to add external data, e.g. Calculations, subtotals, etc.

Advanced printer finishing

Allows you to prepare print output for sorters, staplers & insertion
(OMR) machines, improving normal office routines.

AFPDS/IPDS printing
AutoFormsControl enables users to define, route and deliver
documents for automated printing, faxing, e-mailing, archiving and
XML-distribution. Users can configure rules that trigger the splitting
of a single large file into multiple documents, extract data from
documents for other applications to use, and distribute documents
to numerous locations and output queues without having to
modify existing Spool data. It is all done in a single automated
process completely transparent to the user.

Archiving
InterForm400 allows you to capture, index and store all document
output automatically in our document management system or your
existing archive solution. Using our scan module, any hard copy
document can also easily be stored for later retrieval. With our
archive workflow, you can set up rules for e.g. invoice approval and
distribute documents around the organization for web or
Smartphone approval.

Use your AFPDS / IPDS spool files directly as input for InterForm400
and experience how easy it is to design and maintain documents.
And with InterForm400, you dont need expensive IPDS printers
because you can output on any printer of your choice.

Electronic invoicing
InterForm400 creates compressed and searchable PDF and PDF/A
compliant files. With our digital signature module, you are fully
compliant with any European and worldwide regulation for
electronic invoicing. By sending out digitally signed invoices, you
will experience not only huge cost savings, but also reduce your
carbon footprint.

PDF & Emailing

PDF files can be sent via e-mail, or stored in the file system. File
names and distribution method can be based on the spool content,
along with the option of dynamically creating e-mail content, which
can even be defined in an HTML file.
