MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,
Term 3 has rushed to an end yet again! Thank you for your valued support during the
term, which included highlights such as our Foundation Phase Concert and participation in The Eisteddfod for the first time in some years as a school.
We are currently busy several projects at the school. These included upgrading the
cricket facilities on the Davidson Field for our learners to use; JoJo tanks will be installed for continued water supply when there are water supply interruptions from
Johannesburg Water. The borehole pump has been replaced and we will be making
every effort to better our sport fields. Shade at the swimming pool will also receive a
facelift and be expanded.
A huge thank you to all our parents for paying their school fees every month. Without
your financial support, the SGB and staff at the school would not be able to do these
projects and provide a service to all our stakeholders.
Learners in the Intersen Phase will be enjoying their respective tours during the last
week of term. I hope they return filled with new experiences and knowledge about a
different part of South Africa!
Parents evening this term was on invitation only due to our tours taking place in the
last week. If there are any parents that want to speak to any of the teachers, you are
more than welcome to contact the teacher and make an appointment in the first week
of term regarding the progress of your child. Parents can contact the school at any
time regarding concerns, compliments or achievements. It is important for us to know
so that we can address any concerns.
Enjoy the short holiday and I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fourth

TICKEY RESULTS
Tickey this year has been an astronomical success with the participation of both
parents and learners of Grade Sevens. Learners have raised a whopping amount of
R109 000! This handsome amount includes the takings on Tickey Afternoon, raffles
and cake and candy held during the year. We would like to thank both the parents
and Grade Seven learners for their contributions.
