Matt,
We would like to request the presence of CHFS Radiation Health Program representative at our public meeting taking place
on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 6:00pm at the Estill County High School.
We currently expect or are requesting representation from the following entities:
Kentucky Division of Waste Management
CHFS Radiation Health Department
Advanced Disposal
Estill County Judge Executive
We plan to have a panel to address local public concerns. The format is planned to be as follows:
A brief statement from each represented party concerning the incident with any useful information they are willing to
share.
Questions from the audience.
The local public are particularly concerned about the current risks and the long term consequences of the illegal dumping. An
as basic as is possible explanation of the type of radioactive material as opposed to radioactive material that people normally
perceive would be helpful as well.
