Dress Code

Good morning, everyone! I hope that this message finds you all in good spirits. Before I start, I
want to take some time out to acknowledge the amount of work each of you has put into making
this organization run smoothly every single day. Your hustle will never go unnoticed here at
Leisure Futures, LLC.
This memo was written to speak on dress code concerns within the work environment in light of
recent events. We have received various comments and complaints concerning some of the
clothing choices we have made. I say we because we here at Leisure Futures are a family and
what affects one individual, affects every single one of us. It goes without saying that all of you
are a representation of this organization and how you present yourselves to others is how we
are portrayed. As a family we must make decisions based on our philosophy that ultimately
benefit our goals and overall mission.
The mission here at Leisure Futures, LLC is, To provide a state of the art environment for
individuals working towards improving their level of health through daily acts of physical fitness.
In order to continue providing this level of service to our customers we must transfer the focus
from being placed on our clothing to our amazing line of fitness products. As said in our last
memo correspondence I, your assistant director, am here to encourage self-sufficiency,
creativity, and also individuality. However, this allowance of and self-expression does in fact
come attached with some guidelines and regulations.
I want to be clear in saying that in no way, shape, or form am I trying to impose on your
individual expressiveness. This is but a minor setback in which we can learn and grow from as
families often do. Below you will find an updated list of the dress code guidelines in which every
full-time and part-time employee must comply with here at Leisure Futures. Please utilize my
open door policy if any of these regulations have peaked a concern or question of interest. I am
here to guarantee the successful completion of both our companys goals and mission

statement within the marketing department. Lets all have a productive morning and an even
more effective afternoon. I look forward to seeing these improvements effective immediately
including not only our department but the entire Leisure Futures organization.

No open toe shoes


Only shorts/skirts longer than 6 above the knee are permitted
No baggy or tightly fitted clothing
Tops and bottoms should not have any noticeable tears in them
All shirts/blouses/tops must cover the neckline area
o No V-neck or scoop neck tops
No graphic tees allowed that show anything offensive to any other race, sex, gender,
religion, sexual orientation, or demographic
No areas considered private should be displayed public
o Private areas:
Stomachs/Mid-sections
Genitals
Bottoms
Arms must be covered up a quarter length of the way
o Sleeveless tops only permitted if a third layer (i.e. sweater) is worn during work
hours
Undergarments should not be observable by anyone but yourself
Hats/caps are not permitted

Any of the following regulations are open for retraction pending approval/permission from
the department manager.
