Total Years Of Experience 12+ Years

11+ years experience in EPCI Unit as Senior Piping Layout Engineer especially in Offshore, Onshore,
Petrochemical industry & Green field Topside platform, FPSO projects, Brown filed Maintenance &
Modification projects.

Define, schedule, execute and co-ordinate all activities within areas of responsibility for Feasible Study,
Concept Design, FEED & Execution/Detail Engineering projects.

Prepare study/concept reports, give input to overall Basis for Design.

Piping design & review for the piping systems which involves equipment such as Tanks, Separators, Heat
exchangers, pumps, filters. Preparation of equipment layout.
Preparation & Ordering of piping & support bulk MTO, Material requisitions for Valves, Evaluation.
Conduct multi-discipline design review & implement the review comments in design, Participate in
HAZOP's and other external reviews.
Checking of Piping isometric & support drawings, reviewing of vendor documents & drawings.
Preparation of Material handling report, prefab, installation & demolition work packages.
Preparation of offshore query to collect required information for project.
Ensure that all deliverable are completed on time with required quality.
Complete as-built activities - update weight reports, PDS/PDMS 3D Model, Isometric/Inspection and
support drawings as per redline mark-up received from offshore/onshore installation site.

Ensure uniform design and consistency towards organizational units including fabrication, MC,
commissioning & operation. Provide solution/support to field engineering toward piping installation site.

Report to Project Manager/HOD/Engineering Manager on work progress and identify critical activities,
which might have an impact on overall project execution.

Ensure that vendor information required to progress the work are identified and communicated.
Prepare, review and report overall changes and deviations to design basis.
Experienced in Shutdown project, provision, EIS, SAP, Stidweb system.
Knowledge in international code & standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, NORSOK, Statoil TR,
ConocoPhillips TCD, PED.
Knowledge sharing by conducting training also by preparing & implementing lesson learned.
Prepare piping general specification inclusive of specification for piping arrangement, piping support
standards.
Experience in leading designers & engineers team, Deputed to Aibel Norway, Haugesund for six

Project Gudrun Platform Topside, Green Field Development Project. (Client- Statoil )
Project Description This project is especially aiming the Topside Layout developed for the Gudrun Platform
consists of a stand alone, low manned process platform with 16 well slots (Design & layout of Process, Well bay
& utility module).

Roles & Responsibilities

Worked as Piping Layout Engineer for Process Module.

Prepare / update Equipment Layout, Nozzle orientation.

Design of Piping & Pipe support for Process Module in PDMS as per P&IDs & as per requirement of
TR & NORSOK standard.

Checking of Design Isometric Drawings with respect to equipment drawings, instrument data sheet and
P&IDs.

Conduct the 3D review & implement the review comments in Design, Preparation & checking of Prefab
& Installation MTO.

Ensure that vendor information required to progress the work are identified and communicated.

V&M Modification Contract (Client- Statoil)

1. Topside Export & Robustness Project (Platform Snorre A) Install fresh water package.
2. Onshore field (Troll Kollsnes) Installation of two filter housings with purge connection along with a
utility station for nitrogen, plant air and fresh water close to the new filters.
3. Sleipner SLA/SLT platform - Installation of 6 no. of Nitrogen utility stations.
4. Troll A platform - Modify flow line hook-up spools in Well area due to platform settlement.

Worked as Piping Lead on above project & experience of leading 20 piping members team.

Man-hours estimation for study & detail engineering activities.

Prepared study report, collect the information from offshore.

Preparation of technical requisition for Manual Valves, review vendor documents.
