1. What is the essence of home visits and parent-teacher conferences?

Answer: Home visits and parent-teacher conferences establish a
relationship with parents and provide them information about the
school and their children. This is to understand more our students and
to be able to do the necessary interventions to let them cope in their
lessons. This is also one way of showing to parents that we care for
their children and we are willing to help them become successful.
2. How can a school foster social responsibility?
Answer: We can foster social responsibility in school by setting as an
example to our students as well as to co-teachers. We should live by
what we preach. One should possess a moral/performance character to
become socially responsible. Treat others with respect, use good
manners and help each other are some ways to promote social
responsibility in school.
3. How can we promote public relation in school?
Answer: The use of media is one way of promoting public relation in
school. In this way, we will be able to communicate with the
parents/stakeholders about what is happening in our school as well as
to inform them about the achievement of their child. This is to bridge
the gap between parents and the school. This will keep them aware
about the school and its programs.
4. What is the art in creating harmonious relationship and active
involvement of parents?
Answer: Always see to it that parents are welcome in school all the
time. We must learn how to communicate with parents in welcoming
manner. This will make them feel that they are important. In this way,
we will gain their trust and we can ask their help whenever it is
needed. Ask parents to share their concerns and opinions about school,
and then address those concerns.

places of Brookes Point Palawan.

Some of those are being a good administrator, maintaining a school
with beautiful surroundings, having active PTA member and
appreciating the beauty of nature. One should have a strong desire to
achieve his goal. This has shown in the way Sir Sonny Boy Taha
handled his school. Without budget from Deped, he was able to
develop his school with the help of his stakeholders. He was resourceful
in soliciting funds to construct the stage of his school. He was able to
put up several cottages used as study shed by the pupils. The office

was also constructed with the help of the PTA. This is dynamics in
school.
Sir Taha knows how to manage his co-teachers effectively. He
respects individuals differences. He was able to develop the potentials
of his students by letting them involved in all school activities. He
learned to adapt with their culture to understand them more. He let
them feel that he loved them and cared for them.
6. Role of family in the development of nationalism and culture.
Answer: The family plays a great role in the development of
nationalism and culture. As it is defined that the family is the basic unit
of the society, it is the foundation where nationalism and culture will be
developed. The love for our country should begin in the family. But how
are we going to develop nationalism and culture if we have a
dysfunctional family? There will be a problem if this is the scenario. It is
in the family that we learn to value ourselves, our family, friends and
country. If we do not learn this because our parents didnt teach this to
us, nationalism and culture will not be valued by the younger
generations. Who will teach them the love for our country? The school
can help but it is the role of the family to teach their children how to
value such country and culture.
7. Dynamism of school community relationship.
Answer: This means that we should have a strong desire to improve the
school and to create a harmonious relationship with parents and most
specially to develop a student that is morally and socially responsible
to make this world a beautiful and peaceful place to live in. We can
only achieve this if we are capable of understanding the ways and
culture of the community so that we will be able to deliver the quality
education needed to equipped them with appropriate skills that they
can use as they become an adult individual ready to face the different
challenges ahead of them.
The role of school is very crucial in developing a socially responsible
citizen. This involves many factors that the school and the community
should address to ensure that the student will become successful and
responsible citizen of the country.
