You know, if the bathrooms are going to have people who look like different
types of gender, why don't the parents just go in too and watch their efng
children? I'm a male and it never stopped me from either taking my female
kiddo into the men's restroom with me, or if she specically asks for the
ladies room, I had no problem going in too and waiting outside the stall. The
women who came and went in their restroom simply smiled every time and
one woman says she wishes there were more dads like me (even though I
was just taking my lil sister or cousins). I'm not letting any 'laws' tell me
where or how I can protect my lil ones.

women's restrooms, but if you walk into the women's restroom while
I am in there, you may get your head blown off. And no questions
would be asked in this state where "stand your ground" is the law,
because most people would think a men in a women's restroom is

This article is conjecture and assumption with respect to permitting people to

enter into the restrooms or locker rooms of their choice. I'm not arguing the
possible abuse in Churches. This is no different than abusive homes.
However there is no evidence or experience to draw from to make the
headlining statement. Again, conjecture and assumption. The headline is
obviously intended to make a statement that anyone who doesn't check the
facts, will believe. There's a lot of that lately, isn't there?

The statistics indicate that it has happened far more often in
churches, and that it happens more often with friends/ family of the
victims. There are no statistics to look at with respect to transgender
people, because unlike religious leaders (some, many if you look at
these statistics) they don't go around raping children!!! Transgender
people have been around LONG before the religious right started
pushing these bathroom laws, so there is indeed "experience" of
transgender people using bathrooms, often the bathroom of the

who is transitioning right now. It's about conjecture, and writing
headlines so that they will lead a non suspecting person to a
conclusion, that may not be accurate. And unlike yours, my
comment simply stated that there are no statistics to support the
entire headline. It WAS nice of you to so eloquently express your
distaste of religious leaders, and the 'religious right' though, thank
you. Also, you make a statement about the reading and critical
thinking skills of 'roughly half the people in the U.S.'; to which I have
to wonder, did you miss the part in elementary school where your
teacher showed you how to isolate the subject in a sentance?
Because the subjects of my sentances were clear, they were;
headline statement, and statistics to support both [the word both,
