SWOT ANALYSIS

M1911 pistol
STRENGTH
The .45 ACP cartridge is a very popular caliber due to its low velocity and relatively high stopping power.
This caliber is associated most with the Colt M1911, logically, as ACP literally means 'Automatic Colt
Pistol'. However, there are many more guns and variations on the M1911 that are chambered in .45 ACP.
M1911 is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, recoil-operated pistol chambered for the .45
ACP cartridge.[1] It served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to
1986. It was first used in later stages of the PhilippineAmerican War, and was widely used in World War
I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The pistol's formal designation as of 1940
was Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911 for the original model of 1911 or Automatic

WEAKNESS
Takes a seven-round magazine as standard. Low magazine capacity

OPPORTUNITY
A grip safety, sear disconnect, slide stop, a half cock p the M1911 has lent itself to easy customization.
Replacement sights, grips, and other aftermarket accessories are the most commonly offered parts. Since
the 1950s and the rise of competitive pistol shooting, many companies have been offering the M1911 as a
base model for major customization. These modifications can range from changing the external finish,
checkering the frame, and hand fitting custom hammers, triggers, and sears. Some modifications include
installing compensators and the addition of accessories such as tactical lights and even scopes.position,
and manual safety (located on the left rear of the frame) are on all standard M1911A1s. Several
companies have developed a firing pin block. uses a trigger operated one and several other
manufacturers (such as Smith & Wesson) use one operated by the grip safety.

THREAT
The recoil of a .45 is heavy, but it isnt as sharp. If you have a light build youre probably going to get on
better

SWOT ANALYSIS
LEAD STYPHNATE
STRENGTH
Lead styphnate (whose name is derived from styphnic acid, is an explosive used as a component
in primer and detonator mixtures for less sensitive secondary explosives. Lead styphnate is only
slightly soluble in waterand methyl alcohol[2] Samples of lead styphnate vary in color from yellow to
gold, orange, reddish-brown, to brown. Lead styphnate is known in various polymorphs, hydrates,
and basic salts. Normal lead styphnate monohydrate, monobasic lead styphnate, tribasic lead
styphnate dihydrate, and pentabasic lead styphnate dehydrate as well as , polymorphs of lead
styphnate exist.

WEAKNESS
OPPORTUNITY
Lead styphnate does not react with metals and is less sensitive to shock and friction than mercury
fulminate or lead azide. It is stable in storage, even at elevated temperatures. Lead styphnate is
mainly used in small arm ammunition for military and commercial applications. It serves as a primary
explosive with gunpowder, which will not ignite upon a simple impact.[9] Lead styphnate is also used
as primer in microthrusters for small satellite stationkeeping. [10]

THREAT
Lead styphnate is particularly sensitive to fire and the discharge of static electricity. When dry, it can
readily detonate by static discharges from the human body. The longer and narrower the crystals,
the more susceptible lead styphnate is to static electricity. lead styphnate is toxic owing to heavy
metal poisoning.
