Construction Management Reports (Case Study)
1. Select your own real construction contract (private or government agencies) for case
study. Prepare a complete procedure and guideline for administrative and
management of contract.
2. The report has to include all contract elements (pre-contract and post-contract) from
beginning until completion of the project, calculation, bill of quantities (BQ) and build
up rate (BR).
3. Bills of quantities = you are need to prepare all the elements for suitable type of
building from Works Below Lowers Floor Finish until Frame. All measurement must
clearly explain and indicate at reference drawings.
4. Build up rate = you are need to prepare build up rate for major construction item and
all calculation must clearly explain and support with relevant documents.
5. Compile all Procedures, Guidelines, Bills of Quantities and Build Up Rate in one report.
The report has to include all plans, drawings, sketches, figure, photo, and dispute and
court cases and any relevant document to supports the study.
6. References should be indicated in the text by consecutive numbers in the brackets, as
follows:
a. Other results have been achieved by Asad and Kristiawan [6] and Setiono
[12].
b. All references should appear together at the end of the text. The references
are cited in a numbered list in alphabetic order of the references author with
the following styles :
i. 1. Banthia, N, C. Yan and S. Mindess (1996), Restrained shrinkage
