Prerequisites
Context

The Web CIT system is logged on successfully.

Before using a centralized network management system to connect the SNMP Agent of the target equipment, the IP address of
the PC where the network management system is installed must be
registered in the SNMP manager. At most 10 centralized network
management systems can be connected to a target equipment.
The PC registered in the SNMP manager can not only manage the
target equipment through SNMP but also receive the Trap message
actively reported by the target equipment.

Steps

1. Click Security > SNMP Manager in the left menu bar, as

shown in Figure 38.

Configuring Switch Level

Prerequisites
Context

The Web CIT system is logged on successfully.

Switch level specifies in which layer the network management information is exchanged. There are two choices for switch level
configuration: Mode 2(L3) and Mode 1(L2).

Note:
To implement handover between different switch level, IDU must
be rebooted. For both Mode 2(L3) and Mode 1(L2), the IP address of the PC where user performs management operations and
IP address of the directly connected IDU must be in the same network segment. For Mode 2(L3), the two IDUs of the two one-hop
equipments must be in different network segments respectively.
Steps

46

1. In the left menu, click Configuration > Switch Level >

Switch Level to select the switch level, and click Apply, as
shown in Figure 50.

Configuring Address Aging Mode

Prerequisites

The Web CIT system is logged on successfully.

Context

The switch has the function of automatically learning addresses.

The transmitted destination addresses and the source addresses
of received frames are saved in the address table. If an address
learned previously has no longer been obtained from the network
within the maximum aging time, this address will be deleted from
the address table of the switch. This operation is called address aging. Address aging can release space for newly-learned addresses.

Checking Radio Port

Prerequisites

64

The Web CIT system is logged on successfully.

Context

Statistics of information related to MU equipment is performed at

radio port according to the G802.6 standard. The statistics is displayed in three modes: current 15 minutes, history 15 minutes,
and current 24 hours. For each display mode, the statistics is
displayed according to ActiveMU, MUA, and MUB respectively. ActiveMU stands for the active MU, that is, only MUs in the active
status are counted. If MUA is in the active status, then MUA is
