Place safety mask on. Unscrew the CO2 cap and make sure no CO2 cartridge is in the chamber.
Tie a 2 to 3 inch loop on the end of the supplied trip cord and place it over the sear. With the safety in the off position, cock the mine by placing
your middle finger in the trigger lever. Pull it out and down, placing the trigger slot over the sear and into the safety notch. The Trip Cord Loop
should now be secured between the Receiver and the Trigger Lever. See Armed Configuration diagram for visual assistance.
Place safety pin in the on position.
Unscrew reservoir cap and fill reservoir with Major Paintball Mine Fill. Insert Explosion Simulator Tube if desired. See Helpful Hints. Replace
reservoir cap. (Never fill reservoir with any substance not approved by Major Paintball.)
Remove CO2 cap (cap with smaller hole) and insert CO2 cartridge small end first into the CO2 chamber. Replace the cap. (Finger-tighten only.)
Aim the opening in the Reservoir Cap (cap with larger hole) at the intended targets path and secure to surface. See Helpful Hints.
Pull trip cord across the intended targets path and tie to a secure object. See Helpful Hints.
Cover your mine lightly with foliage to camouflage it if desired. See Helpful Hints.
With the safety pin in the on position, move the trigger lever out of the safety notch onto the sliding surface. Keep your head clear of the
muzzles and carefully move the safety pin to the off position. See Helpful Hints. The mine is now armed. Reverse procedures to disarm.

HELPFUL HINTS
Securing Mine: Aim the mine so that the discharge opening in the reservoir cap is pointing at the intended targets path. The stake provided with
your mine can be used in most situations for securing the mine to the ground horizontally. Simply insert between the receiver and the reservoir bodies,
opposite of the safety pin. Push the stake in the ground so that the hook end holds the center cross-section of the mine securely to the ground. If the
mine is to be used on a hard surface such as rock or concrete, a heavy object like a brick or stone may be placed on the reservoir to immobilize it. For
vertical placement use the metal Reservoir Strap and screw provided with your mine. Select an object such as a tree or pole and attach the mine to
the object. Tape or a bungee cord works for this mounting position as well.
Running Trip Cord: Tie a 2 to 3 inch loop on the end of the supplied trip cord and place the loop over the sear prior to cocking the mine. When
you cock the mine, the Trip Cord Loop should be secured between the Receiver and the Trigger Lever. Do not tie the trip cord to the trigger lever.
They are designed to separate after activation. Pull the trip cord across the intended targets path and tie to a secure object. (A key ring works great for
quick attachment.) The cord should be at least 6 inches above the surface of the intended targets path. (Do not pull the cord too tight. This will cause
the trigger lever to disengage when it is removed from the safety notch.)
Performance note: Your mine comes with a trip cord specifically designed for use with the Master Mine and M-12TR. Attempts to use cords other
than the type provided may yield poor results.
Concealing Mine: After the mine is in place you may cover it lightly with foliage. Take care not to block the trigger lever or its path. This could
slow the hammer speed and hinder CO2 discharge. Keep the area clear in front of the reservoir cap opening to prevent flying debris.
Operating Safeties: The mine must be cocked before the safety pin may be placed in the on position. Push in for safe. To remove the trigger
lever from the safety notch, secure the mine with one hand. Place the forefinger of your other hand in the trigger lever hole and your thumb on the end
of the CO2 cap. Squeeze the trigger lever towards your thumb and move it out of the safety notch and onto the sears sliding surface. You can now
move the safety pin to the off position. This must be done carefully in order to prevent accidental discharge. Smooth movement of the pin may be
achieved by rolling it while moving it to the off position. (Take care to keep your head clear of the muzzles in case of accidental discharge.)
Cleaning Mine: Remove CO2 cartridge from mine. Field strip and wash in warm water using mild detergent and a bottle brush. Mine may be
fully disassembled for complete cleaning if desired. Air-dry and reassemble.
Explosion Simulator Tube EST: Assemble the rigid and flexible tube together per the instructions below. Insert the closed end through the
hole from the inside of the reservoir cap (cap with larger hole) and pull through from the outside of the cap until it stops against the expanded shoulder
created by the ridged tube. Secure the EST Safety Restraint, if present, to the mine.

M-12TR EST Assembly Instructions:

Cut the ridged tube found in your EST package into 1 inch sections. Moisten one
end along with the inside opening of the flexible tube. (A diluted soap solution or
saliva may be used). Slide the flexible tube over the ridged tube until the ridged
tube is completely covered by the flexible tube. Allow some dry time before
discharging mine. Insert the Safety Restraint (if present) & sealed tube end
through the hole as described in the previous section. Reassemble the mine per
the Operation Procedure section of this manual. Secure the Safety Restraint to
the mine. Keep ridged tubes after detonation for reuse with the other flexible tubes.
