ABSTRACT

Isna Sukma Pratiwi. The discipline work effect through amount of direct
compensation at Manpower and Transmigration department of West Java
Province.
The Implementations of discipline work in an organization as an
important element, which was became the supporting factor to increase the
amount of compensation to the employee. Based on the phenomena that occur at
the DISNAKERTRAS environment, the reduction of direct compensation that
received by the employee is because of employment discipline standardization is
yet performing well through the entire of employee.
This study is aim to determine how huge is the effect of discipline work in
terms of attendance frequency and regulations adherence partially and
simultaneously through direct compensation amount of DISNAKERTRANS
employee in West Java Province.
Based on the framework, the work discipline was defined by the right,
both of time and place. Organizations labor discipline is influence by the
attendance frequency and regulations adherence. While the direct compensation
amount is in the form of cash awards that given to the employees based on service
exchanges that rendered to the organization.
The thesis writing method is explanation with quantitative approach. The
populations of this study were 180 people of DISNAKERTRANS employee of West
Java Province, while the sample of study was 64 people. The Data collection was
taken through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used validity test,
reliability test, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination, hypothesis
testing and multiple regressions for the two predictors.
Based on the results of data processing, the provision will increase the
direct compensation amount, if the attendance frequency execution had improved
regulatory compliance. the Percentage of coefficient Calculation and Coefficient
Determination shows that the implementation of labor discipline in terms of
attendance frequency, regulations compliance were influenced through 56.8516%
simultaneously and partially in term of direct compensation amount of
DISNAKERTRANS employee in West Java Province. Means that, the relationship
between two variables were in high relationship level. Meanwhile, from
hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis, the two predictors showed a
significant effect of discipline of work in terms of attendance frequency and
regulations adherence by the direct compensation amount of DISNAKERTRANS
employee in West Java Province. It is evident from Fcount greater than Ftable, then
Ha accepted.
