HPLC High-performance liquid chromatography

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) formerly referred to as high-pressure
liquid chromatography), is a technique in analytic chemistry used to separate the components
in a mixture, to identify each component, and to quantify each component. It relies on pumps to
pass a pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample mixture through a column filled with a
solid adsorbent material. Each component in the sample interacts slightly differently with the
adsorbent material, causing different flow rates for the different components and leading to the
separation of the components as they flow out the column.
HPLC has been used for medical (e.g. detecting vitamin D levels in blood serum), legal (e.g.
detecting performance enhancement drugs in urine), research (e.g. separating the
components of a complex biological sample, or of similar synthetic chemicals from each other),

A compact, versatile air sampler for monitoring gaseous and particulate pollutants in ambient air
and the work - space environment to analyze inorganic gases such as so2, nox. Nh3, cs2,
hydrocarbons, solvent vapor & determine suspended particulate matter as per the factory act 1948
amended in 1987-88 provided for regulation monitoring of workspace environment and exposure
of workmen to harmful pollutants and chemicals.
This instrument is small, light in weight, mounted in a compact aluminium case and is fitted with a
diaphragm pump, a rota meter and a pinch valve for flow adjustment. The instrument is a micro
controller based unit for timer operated function of the system. It comes with a digital display timer
and sampling devices.

Melting Point Apparatus LBS-MPA-196

Respirable Dust Sampler is based on the simple design standardized by USEPA for monitoring
the Total Suspended Particles (TSP) in Ambient air and also simultaneous sampling of pollutant
gases like SO2, NOx, CL2 H2S, CS2, etc. These gases are analyzed subsequently by simple
chemistry method to determine concentration of specific pollutant.
The IPM-115(BL/NL) Sampler first separates the coarser particles (larger than 10 microns) from
the air stream before filtering it on the 0. 5-micron pore-size filter, allowing a measurement of
both the TSP and the Respirable fraction of the Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM). It draws
the air by the help of high flow rate blower at the nominal flow rate 1. 4 cubic meters per
minute. As the air passes through the cyclone inside the RDS, coarse and non-respirable dust is
separated from the air stream by centrifugal force acting on the solid particles and collects
inside the sampling bottle. The size of this type of dust varies from 10 microns to 100 microns.

Stack Monitoring Kit

STACK MONITORING KIT IPM-112 is designed to serve the most crucial purpose of measuring the total
volumetric discharge of particulate matter and gaseous pollutants from the stacks. This efficient and
flexible system samples, all gaseous stream effluents in accordance with the Air {Prevention and Control
of Pollution) Act of 1981 by which all industrial establishments have to measure and monitor emissions
from their plants and keep them under controlled limits.

filters are used to decontaminate a room by filtering out particles greater than 0.3 micrometers

Our air shower is a fully self contained unit with high degree of maneuverability. They are fully

LABSOL Laboratory Fume Hood is a ventilated enclosure designed to contain and exhaust fumes,
vapors, mists and particulate matter generated within the hood interior. Fume hood structures are
basically boxlike, with an open side (or sides) for access to the interior of the hood. A transparent,
movable panel, called a sash, allows the user to restrict or enlarge the hood opening. The hood is

Air Shower Tunnel
Labsol Air shower tunnel provides a rapid and effective means for reducing dust contaminations.
The Air Shower design features a field programmable microprocessor control Digital Timer 0-999
secs. that features maximum application flexibility and reliability. The air shower with multi
directed air flow is extremely portable and cost effective. Moreover the air shower for clean room
has air interlock system that prevents contaminants from entering clean rooms.
Product Overview and Explanation (Air shower Technology)
Our both side flow air shower tunnel are equipped with supreme quality HEPA filter/ blower
modules to dislodge and remove particles.
Our units ae used as a staging area to remove particles from individuals before entering a clean
room or other controlled area. Moreover it includes a blower assembly, emergency controls and a
HEPA filter with adjustable nozzles along with a light fixture .
Our air showers are constructed out of heavy duty stainless steel sheets of grade ss-304. The
internal cubicle of air showers is plastic laminated and attractively finished. The unit is provided
with blower access panel at the side of the shower.

It is designed to accurately measure the compressive, flexure, strength of concrete.
Indication of load is on digital display system, which is directly indicated, in respective

RS232 serial port. It has indication for load, peak load, and pace rate indicator. Pace rate is
achieved manually by controlling the flow control knob and the system is released manually
after the peak load is achieved.

Universal Testing Machine

Electronic universal testing machines are designed for conducting tests on various types of ferrous and nonferrous materials in (i) compression (ii) tension (iii) Transverse (iv) Bending (v) Shear (vi) Hardness and many
others.
The machine comprise of three main parts.
(A) LOADING FRAME
The Loading Frame consists of a central cross head whose position is adjustable through a geared motor
depending on the size of the test specimen. The lower table is carried by the piston of the Hydraulic Ram of
suitable capacity positioned in the cast iron base of the machine. The upper cross head is carried by four steel
columns fixed to the lower table.
(B) HYDRAULIC PUMPING SYSTEM
Hydraulic pumping system consists of multi plunger pump powered by a suitable motor operated on 415V,
3Phase, 50Hz. This pump gives a continuous non pulsating oil flow to the ram of the loading frame. Pressure
switch is provided for additional safety against over load. Release valve and load control valve is placed at a
convenient position for easy operation by the operator.
(C) ELECTRONIC CONTROL PANEL
It is a microprocessor based unit with a built-in interface for the computer. The panel consists of a load
indicator, elongation indicator and an output analog port for X-Y/t plotter. It has the facility for Tare, Peak Hold,
Auto zero, Auto ranging, i.e. automatic shifting of range from lower to higher after the load reaches the set limit
and reset button, Start and stop of transferring data to computer. The readings of Load and Elongation can be
transferred to computer through RS 232 port and can be online monitored.

Heating Mantle
LABSOL heating mantle is used to apply heat to containers, as an alternative to other forms of
heated bath. In contrast to other heating devices, such as hot plates or Bunsen, glassware
containers may be placed in direct contact with the heating mantle without substantially
increasing the risk of the glassware shattering, because the heating element of a heating
mantle is insulated from the container so as to prevent excessive temperature gradients

Rapid Chloride-Ion Permeability Test apparatus (Indian)

The SMART-CL is a Rapid Chloride-Ion Permeability Test apparatus as per
ASTM - 1202 - 05 made by people who understand High Performance
Concrete. Having conducted hundreds of tests on different concretes, the
apparatus has been developed and fine-tuned over a period of 3 years and
has been used extensively on prestigious demonstration projects of the
hvfacproject-India to assess the permeability of concrete.
Concretes incorporating fly ash or silica fume are less permeable to
deleterious elements and thus are more durable than conventional
concretes. The Rapid Chloride-ion Permeability Test (RCPT) was designed
to assess the resistance of concrete to the penetration of chloride ions, an
indicator of its permeability.
The SMART-CL is a fully self-contained, complete kit as per ASTM C 1202-05.
There are two models available with features listed below:
Rapid Chloride-Ion Permeability Test apparatus (Imported Proove it- Germany)

Purpose
The PROOVEit system is used to evaluate the resistance of concrete to the ingress of
chloride ions in two ways:
By determining how easy it is to force chloride ions into saturated concrete by applying
an electrical potential across a test specimen in accordance with AASHTO T 277 or ASTM
C1202. This is known as the "Coulomb Test" or the "Rapid Chloride Permeability Test
(RCPT)."
By measuring the penetration depth of chloride ions, after an electric
potential has been applied to the specimen in accordance with NORDTEST BUILD 492
(Chloride Migration Coefficient from Non-Steady State Migration Experiments) to
determine the "Chloride Migration Coefficient," which can be used to estimate the
chloride diffusion coefficient for service life calculations.

The Schmidt rebound hammer is principally a surface hardness tester. The Original Schmidt is
available in models with different impact energies, each test hammer designed for a specific test
application.
The Romans were aware of the fact that good mortar (opus caementicium) is hard and of a high
compressive strength. They tested its quality subjectively by scratching the surface with an iron nail.
But only in the mid-20th century was this know-how utilized. A device was invented which made nondestructive compressive strength testing feasible.
It was and is the Original SCHIMIDT concrete test hammer
The test hammer will hit the concrete at a defined energy. Its rebound is dependent on the hardness of
the concrete and is measured by the test equipment. By references to the conversion chart, the
rebound value can be used to determine the compressive strength. For the first time it was feasible to

Construction Details (Hot Air Oven):
Our laboratory ovens are Triple walled convection heated units. Outer body of our hot air
oven are constructed out of thick PCRC sheet duly pre-treated with primers and duly powder
coated.. The inner chamber is made of heavy gauge stainless steel sheet of SS-304 grade.
The gap between the walls is filled high grade mineral glass wool, which ensures maximum
thermal efficiency in our laboratory ovens. The unit is provided with one to three/four
stainless steel shelves (As per the inner size).

Magnetic Stirrers (heavy Duty Permanent Magnet & Body of S.s)

The stainless steel top housing series of magnetic stirrers are most compact models. The
motor gives high torque even at lower speeds and maintains speed stability despite
viscosity or volume changes. Accurate steeples speed control allows smooth variation up
to 1200 rpm. Stirring is accomplished by a small Teflon coated magnetic paddle to be
placed in the container. It has a compact stirring device utilizing a rotating magnetic field
(created by a PERMANENT MAGNET) which induces variable speed stirring action. Stirring is

Stability Test Chamber

The LABSOL" Stability Chamber uses a microprocessor based; electronic humidity sensor
detector is an exact logarithmic function of the humidity concentration in the environment of
the chamber between source and detector. Advanced design provides a very stable drift-free
output requiring less frequent calibration.
Our photo stability chamber conforms to the illumination requirement as per the International
Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals
for Human Use The unit is provided with four fluorescent light mounted in a diffuser enclosure
at the top of the chamber providing minimum illumination level of 1.2 million lux ,which is
effectively controlled through a programmable illumination controller.
The gap of 75 mm between the outer and the inner wall is filled with special grade glass wool to
prevent thermal losses.

Water Distillation
Vacuum Rotary Evaporator (buchi Type) (Motorized Model)

Specifications
The apparatus consists of an 800ml evaporating flask rotated by heavy duty motor in a
hating water bath.
Fitted with Motorized Auto Lift System which operates up or down on touch of a
button.
Fitted with speed regulator for speed adjustments.
The evaporating flask is pear shaped to give a large surface area of evaporation.
Evaporating flask is clamped to a glass duct which goes through the drive unit and
protrudes into the condenser.
Vacuum distillation of solvent at high and low temperature is achieved quickly by use
of a heavy duty motor, which prevents foaming and bumping of the liquid (solvent)
into the evaporating flask and also distillation under controlled atmosphere.
Condenser is fitted with standard joint at the top and the bottom for receiver flask.
Supplied complete with Water Bath Digital and fitted with Digital RPM/Speed Meter.

Double walled: inner and outer body and boiling condenser also made of
stainless steel. This method of producing and storing distilled water is designed
specially to meet the needs of the modern Hospital and Laboratory Research. To
