Additional Information
In addition to providing equity, the fund management
participates actively in the project development from
prefeasibility through to financial close. Projects may be
standalone such as wind farms or captive such as bagasse based
power generation at sugar factories. Additional information can
be accessed at www.frontier.dk

Smaller projects can be supported through the bank's credit lines

to local banks.

In Kenya, GIZ engagement in the energy sector focusses on

promotion of fuel wood saving cookstoves and small solar
systems under the global Energizing Development programme,
funded by various donors such as Norway, DGIS (Netherlands),
AusAid and Germany.

The AECF supports businesses working in agriculture, financial

services, renewable energy and technologies for adapting to
climate change. We also support initiatives in media and
information services where they relate to these sectors.

EUEI PDF does not provide project financing but support policy
advisory services to government and government agencies.
