INVITATION TO BID FOR PAKYAW LABOR FOR THE PROVISION OF LABOR FOR
CONCRETING OF AREA BETWEEN THE Multi-Purpose Hall & ICTC BLDG.
1.The Eastern Samar State University main Campus, Borongan City, Eastern
Samar, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) intends to apply the
sum of SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND PESOS ONLY(PhP75,000.00) being the approved
Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the
PAKYAW LABOR FOR THE PROVISION OF LABOR FOR CONCRETING OF AREA BETWEEN
THE MULTI-PURPOSE HALL & ICTC BLDG.. Bids received in excess of the ABC
shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
The Eastern Samar State University Main Campus now invites bids for
the provision of labor and in connection with the PROPOSED CONCRETING OF
AREA BETWEEN MULTI-PURPOSE HALL & ICTC BLDG. which will include the
following:
a. AREA 14.2m x 55m
b. THICKNESS 0.125m
c. DURATION 20 CD
d. CLASS B CONCRETE
All Works is required to be completed within 20 calendar days, including
Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and Non-workable days. Bidders should have
completed, within ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt
of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an
eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in
Section II. Instruction to Bidders.
2. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures
using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the
Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184),
otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act.
3. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the ESSU BAC
Secretary and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below
from 8:00am to 5:00pm .
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee
for the Bidding Documents in the amount of P500.00 on or before Jan. 22,
2013.
5. The ESSU Main will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on (NO Pre-Bid Conference
is required for this procurement) at exactly ________ at Administration
Building, Conference Room, which shall be open only to all interested
parties who have purchased the Bidding Documents.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before January 28,
2013
and shall be opened on the same date at exactly 10:00AM at
Administration Building, Conference Room. All bids must be accompanied
by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount
stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders` representatives who
choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
7. The ESSU Main reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul
the bidding
process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to

contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected

or bidders.
