Enviormental enemy no.

Cleaning up the burning of coal would be the best way to make growth
greener
Is GROWTH bad for the enviorment? Based on survey enviorment this week
explain, than growth cause the planet to death. On the contrary, it can be
compatible and blostering with greeny. But in the fact there are fouling
enviormental such as unhealthy ,dirty and inefficient way in using energy. So we
have to start change the way we use energy of fossil fuel towards a cleaner, low
carbon future. That can be called such an energy revolution because of three
reasons. First, a switch to a cleaner energy would make tackling other green
concerns a lot easier. The second reason is climate change. The goverment have
to send a powerful signal that the world must move towards a low-carbon future.
The third reason is the most pressing of all is human health. The bad norm in
poor countries such ineffucuent power, bad ventilationc ,sooty coal boilers, and
air polution that lead preventable causes of death. It will give impact to the rich
world too. Such as rich countries get imipact of paticles released by combution of
fossil fuel, and especially coal.
Dethroning king coal
The dream of cleaner energy will never be realised as long as the balance is
tilted toward dirty technology wich is less obvious but no less damaging. for a
start goverments mast scarp perverse subsidies that actually encourage
consumption of fossil fuel. A clause in americas clean air act exempts old coal
factory from complying with curennt emission rules. So much of americas
electry is now produced by coal factorpy that are over 30 years old. The bushes
administration has announced measures tahat will give those dirty old clunker a
new lease on life. Nor are poor countries blameless.
The harm done to human and enviroment from burning fossil fuels is not
reflected in price of those fuels, especially coal, in most countries. That point
point to a second prescription.; the rich world could usefully help poorer
countries to a switch to cleaner nenergy. As the poor world grows richer in
coming decades and builds thousand of power plants, ,many more such
unfortunantes will get electricity. That good news will come with snag. Unless
the rich world intervernes. Many of these plants will burn coal in dirty way.
Ending subsidies for exporters of fossil-fuel plant might help. But stronger action
is probably needed, meaning that the rich world must be ready to pay for the
poor to low-carbon energy as a form of insurance against global warming. And
one good idea to stop burning fuels dirty such as coal using todays technology
that goverment have to impose a tax based on carbon emmision.
Dawning of the age of hydrogen
None of these change needed kill off coal altogether. They would provide a much
needed boost to development of low carbon technologuies. But it so
sequestration, an innovative way of using fossil without releasing carbon into the

air.this matter for two reason.first, there is so much cheap coal distributed in the
world. The second reason is that sequestraction offers a fine stoping stone to
squeky clean hydrogen. The energy will trapped in coal is unleashed and its
carbon sequestered, energy of hydrogen can be use directly in fuels cells and it
can power a laptop, a car or houses without emissions at all.
Best of all, this approach offers even defenders of coal a realistic long term plan
for tackling climate change. Mr. Bush, who has made suprisingly positive
coments about carbon sequestrarion and fuels cells, could be silence the criticts
by following suit. By cracking down on carbon and embracing hydrogen, he
could even lead.
