ORIGIN OF RESOLUTION: group of people who advise or govern of The Philippine Foresters and

ISSUE OF CONCERN:

government
units
are

managing these forests and
also face serious challenges from big and awkward rules, lowering in number and getting worse

expenses, and the departure of workers with institutional knowledge and skills to manage forest
lands. The current level of active management on national forest lands is not enough to deal with the

environment.

government-related proposals recommending big
changes to the
order.The pace and scale of active forest management must increase

lot to
begin to restore our national forests to a more able to last and more productive to our planet and
to provide the continued benefits to
the
production
of
forest products ,clean air, clean water, recreation opportunities, wildlife home , those are valued
for our nation's environmental survival.
RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Association of Philippine Foresters and DENR supports efforts to reform
the
current policy concerning management of national forest lands and believes Congress and the
Management should adopt the following ways of thinking the importance of our forest and human
lives.
