CHAPTER I

1.1.BACKGROUND
Healthy environments is the dream of all people, A
healthy environments is the right of very human
being.no living creature in the world is willing to place
his life littered or in polluting, but what happens now?
Hope for a healthy life expectancy is just,if balanced
with environmentally friendly behavior,litter
everywhere,pollution will not inevitable,whether
pollution of land, water,or air as long as life is still
there, it will always be in the production of waste,
waste production is proportional to the in crease of
population the more the population, the in crasing
amount of waste produced, and a growing number of
outbreaks of disease spread example:
DIARRHEA,DENGUE,MALARIA,ARI,TIVES,etc..
Process waste is not difficult, through a refracting
healthy life,becomes,a habit and culture,to
create a healthy living habits must begin from an
early age where it will be created from the
cultural habits to live a clean add healthy

1.2.PROBLEM FORMULATION
1.How garbage impact to life?
2. How plastic garbage danger to environment and health?
3. How to lessen garbage ?

1.3.PURPOSE
GENERAL AND SPECIAL PURPOSE.
GENERAL PURPOSE of this paper is now we as a
nurse is able to know abaut the garbage
problem,a way to investigate abaut the diseases
that will plague through polluted rubbish and
solutions to overcome these problem
SPECIFIC PURPOSE of this paper is:
to raise awareness of our for not to littering

to provide guidance to the community for a

healthy life
to know the effect of waste in daily life

CHAPTER II

2.1.STRATEGY
Waste management is the
collection,transport,processing,recycling or disposal
of waste materials, this phrase usually refers to waste
materials resulting from human activities, and usually
managed to reduce its impact on healthy, the
environment or the beauty, waste management is also
done to restore natural resources, waste
management can involve solid,liquid,gas and
radioactive methonds and skill,to specific for each of
substance.
There are also the principles of cleaner production for example
by applying the principle of 4R.
1.

REDUCE (reduce)

possible do to minimize the goods or materials that

we use the
more we use the material, the
more waste is produced;
2.

RE-USE (reuse)
As much as possible choose items that can be reused to avoid
items that are disposable it can extend the usage time before it
becomes trash items

3.

RECYCLE (recycle)
Wherever possible, items that are no longer useful, can be

recycled. Not all items can be recycled, but it's been a lot of
non-formal industries and industries that utilize household waste
into other goods. Recycling technologies, particularly for plastic
waste, glass waste, and trash metal, is an answer to maximizing
the material after becoming waste, to be restored again in the
cycle of recycling these materials.
4.

REPLACE (replace)
Thorough goods we use everyday. Replace items that can only
be used once the goods are more durable. Also carefully so we
only use items that are more environmentally friendly, for
example, we replace plastic bags with basket when shopping,
and do not use styrofoam because these two materials can not be
degraded naturally.

ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IN HANDLING

THE TRASH
From the development of community life can be concluded that
the handling of the waste problem is not da [at solely handled by
the local government (district / city). At the level of
development of the life of today's society requires a shift in
approach to the source approaches and paradigm change which
in turn requires the intervention of the government. Pengelolah
litter abatement activities include, segregation, collection, use,
transport, and processing.
Waste management policy should be made by the central
government because it has national coverage. Waste
management policy include:
1. Determination of policy instruments:
a. regulatory instruments: the establishment of a policy rule, uu
and clear laws about trash and destruction of the environment
b. economic instruments: the determination of economic
instruments to reduce the burden of final waste management (a
system of incentives and disincentives) and the imposition of
taxes for companies that produce waste, as well as to test the
environmental impact:

2. encourage the development effort

3. The development of environmentally friendly
products and
packaging
4. The development of technologies, standards and
procedures for waste management:
establishment of criteria and standards for
determining the location of at least the end of the
handling of garbage
determination of the location of the final waste
processing
minimum area of land for the location of final waste
processing

How to control junk simplest is to raise awareness of the self not

to damage the environment with garbage. Other tasks include
the control of social culture for more recognition of the
environment, although it can be exposed to certain myths.
