Job Description:

1. Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking temperature, pulse
rate, respiratory rate and Blood pressure (BP), dressing wounds, treating
bedsores, giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs and massages or performing
catheterizations.

2. Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

3. Prepare patients for, and assist with examinations and treatments.
4. Administer medications as prescribed. Hook IVF and note times and amount
on patients chart.
5. Provide pre and post-surgery assistance to all patient
6. Monitor patients vital signs and health condition after surgery
7. Monitor all aspects of patient including their physical activity and proper diet.
8. Report any untoward signs and symptoms and changes in patients condition
9. Assists patients in ambulation postoperatively and do aseptic post-operative
wound care.
10. Monitors the intake and output of patients accordingly
11. Assemble and use equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen
supplies.
12. Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms.
13. Collect samples such as blood, urine and sputum from patients and send to
laboratory tests on samples.
14. Apply compresses, ice bags and hot water bottles.
15. Modify patient care treatment plans as indicated by patients responses and
conditions
16. Educate patient regarding choice of treatment in accordance with the nursing
side.
17. Records and documents nursing care and diagnosis of each patient.
