Overview of Configuration
Report
Configuration Report reports important NMS configuration information. Via configuration Report, system administrator can get
concise NE configuration information and output uniform report
data. Configuration report also monitors NMS configuration status, which enables further troubleshooting, adjustment, and optimization.
Major functions of configuration report are listed below.
1. Users may specify the NE whose configuration data are to be
obtained.
2. Uers may get NE network/physical/radio resource/software
version configuration data.
3. These data are saved in csv form at client end. Users may
carry out data review and analysis based on the reported configuration data.
Note:
This function is only applicable to GSM and TD-SCDMA.
Configuration Report
Interface
On NetNumen M31(RAN) client side, click View > Configuration
Report on the main menu to open Configuration Report interface, as shown in Figure 1.

Both the server and client have started up. Client login is successful

on the tool bar to open Get Report interface, as shown
in Figure 3.

Note:
Only TD-SCDMA and GSM NE types are supported. Therefore,
the effective items in the pull-down list include IBSCMEID,
TRncManagedElement, and GSMV2_BSC.
4. Select the desired NE(s) on the topology tree of Get Report
interface, as shown in Figure 5.

Context
Both the server and client have started up. Client login is successful.
All report types of NetNumen M31 are included under the REPORT
TYPE tree. Three report types correspond to BSC NE, TD-SCDMA
RNC NE, and WCDMA RNC NE, as shown in Figure 8.

Note:
Currently, only BSC NE and TD-SCDMA RNC NE are supported by
the system. WCDMA RAN NE is reserved for future application.
