Title : The correlation of hormonal contaceptive use with sexual disfunction
among young woman in Bengkulu 2015.
Backgrond: Sexual function is one of important component in human live, its
because sexual function have a correlation with quality of life in family. One of
the factor that could disturb this sexual function is contaceptive use. Hormonal
contaception are a kind of the most that using by women especially in Bengkulu
Method: This study using anlytic descriptive with cross sectional study.
Respondent in this study is 85 young women teacher (15-49 years old) with
distribution17 respondent for each hormonal contaception taken by consecutive
sampling. Sexual function scored by Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI)
questionnaire. The data shown by Chi-square.
Result: There is no significant different between each hormonal contraception
with sexual disfunction (p = 0,431). In another hand there are a significant
different between domain, desire domain (p = 0,000), arrausal domain (p =
0,001), lubrication domain (p = 0,000), and pain domain (p = 0,000).
Conclution: Based on this stdudy we can conclude that each of hormonal
contaception could made a sexual disfunction. Hormonal combination
contaception make a sexual disfunction in desire and arrausal domain, but
progestion contaception make a sexual disfunction in lubrication and pain.
