SPCIS hosts 1st Football Cup

St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur hosted the very 1st Football Cup in the entire province of
Ilocos Sur, which was held on July 25, 2015 in St. Paul College Football Pitch. The competition
was organized by the Philippine Football Federation which aims to promote football in the
school.
The event was spearheaded by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, the school
administrators through the effort of the Skills Identification and Goal-Driven Learning for the
Advancement of Learning (S.I.G.L.A.T) moderators and with the guidance and supervision of
the Philippine Football Federation.
Many aspiring football players responded to the invitation and played in order to evaluate
their performance. The participants were Baguio City Football Club, Vigan City Kugtaleros, St.
Paul Alumni, St. Paul Varsity and Selected foreign football players.
The said event was closed by the awarding of the winners.
