Context/Rationale:
Students will investigate basic history about the division of North and South Korea to prepare about
learning about the cultural differences that exist between the 2 countries.
Prerequisites:

Students will need to be able to identify that there are different cultural characteristics throughout Asia.

Give each student a fact card have them move about learning about each
students fact and recording what they have learned (South Korea can also
use the internet)
Day 2: Put students into pairs
Each pair is assigned a category from the information charts to compare
contrast. They will discuss the similarities and differences between N and
S K.
*They must also answer the question: Would these differences make it
difficult to reunite N and S into a single country? Why/why not?
