    ASSIGNMENT: FUN MATHS QUESTION (PROBLEM SOLVING)


    1) I am a four digit number. My first digit is of no use as I still remain same without it.
    My second and third digits are mirror images. My fourth digit are half of the second.
    Can you guess the number?

    (Answer: 0884)

    2) Using four sevens (7) and a one (1) to create the number 100. Except the five
    numerals you can use the usual mathematical operations, root and bracket.
    [Answer: (7+7) (7+(1 7)) = 100]

    3) If

    5 + 3 = 28
    9 + 1 = 810
    8 + 6 = 214
    5 + 4 = 19
    Then 7 + 3 = ??

    Solution

    5+3=28
    9 + 1 = 8 10

    Hence,
    7-3=4
