DESCRIPTION/ DEFINITON OF THE PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE STAGES

Raw Material Extraction- The choice of material varies, depending upon
application. Most disposable water bottles are made from petroleum derived
polyethylene terephthalate.

High Density Polyethylene (most widely used for plastic bottles)

Low Density Polyethylene (similar to HDP)
Polyethylene Terephthalate (commonly used for carbonated drinks)
Polyvinyl Chloride (really good resistant to oils)
Polycarbonate (clear plastic used to make water and milk bottles)
Raw Material Manufacturing- The essence of manufacturing is turning raw
material into finished goods that you can then sell for a profit.

High Density Polyethylene is the most widely used

INTEPRETATION/CONCLUSION/ AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Can use less water bottles and more reusable bottles.

Can actually recycle and make plastic more useful than throwing it in the
trash and having it sit in landfill
Cut down on the amount of bottles we make, to use less oil
Get a way reuse the recycled bottles
Use less new water bottles, so we dont send the oil to the refinery and pollute
the earth
We can get our water bottles to be reusable so we dont throw them away
