I
n today’s business, where challenges and opportunities
tend to co-exist, the interplay of technology, economics and
environment makes it highly complex and volatile.

In an endeavor to uphold this legacy, IIM Lucknow established


a dedicated campus at Noida for running the International
Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) as its
flagship management course. It is uniquely crafted for
experienced professionals to broaden their perspectives and
to get them ready for middle/senior level roles. IPMX imparts
holistic knowledge and drives both professional & personal
development through interactive sessions, case studies &
relevant workshops.

Eminent industry leaders are invited to interact with students


through the Leadership Talk Series. The rigorous eleven months
schedule also includes an international immersion, in which
students travel to partner schools overseas to enhance their
global perspective. The democratically elected events, sports,
e- Cell, LTS committees are entirely student driven adding a
dimension of leadership to their personal brand. Overall, the
course structure helps the candidates in achieving the right
mix of business acumen and interpersonal skills.

come with its own set of challenges and opportunities and India with its large work
pool is primed to seize this opportunity. It then becomes imperative for the business
schools in the country to create the talent pool necessary to convert these opportunities into
tangible results. IIMs have always been at the forefront, creating world class Business leaders
capable of adapting and leveraging the change.

IIM Lucknow over the past three decades has strived to create knowledge base, influenced
management practices and promote a non-dogmatic learning as a way of life. The Institute
believes in creating leaders who not only can add business value but also social values in their
respective organizations. It is this stress on promoting the human value to learning that sets
IIM Lucknow apart from its peers.

To further this quest for excellence, we set up our NOIDA campus in 2007 and started our
flagship program - International Program in Management for Executives (IPMX). Through
the rigorous industry oriented curriculum and exposure to the latest management practices,
we equip our students with the right tools, skill-sets and global perspectives to excel in their
chosen fields

IM Lucknow has the unique distinction of being the only IIM to establish two
campuses in the country. The Noida Campus was envisioned to provide focused
executive education, with close linkages and deeper discourse with industry and
policy. The one year residential International Program in Management for Executives
– IPMX – was conceptualized as a post graduate program for enabling executives
with substantial experience and leadership potential, to undertake formal full time
management education as a mid-career initiative, and facilitate their successful
transition to senior, leadership roles in the corporate world.

Over the past many years, the IPMX has grown into one of the country’s most rigorous executive post graduate diploma
programs, where it helps provide a thorough grounding in the foundations of management, helps participants leverage
both the depth of their past learning and the diversity of colleagues’ experiences from across executive programs at this
executive oriented Campus, as well as within their own batch and IPMX alumni.The success of the alumni has reinforced
the view that the IPMX batches gain tremendous value from program, and prove to be invaluable corporate talent.

PMX (International Program of Management for Executives) is a rigorous one-year
residential management program designed to develop the right mix of strategic
business leaders and conscientious decision makers. The participants are selected
from a vast pool of applicants through a well thought and thorough admission
process with focus on personal competence, intellectual aptitude and social
sensitivity mind set.

The IPMX program is designed to balance and integrate theoretical classroom


learning with real world applications. The program focuses on industry interaction and an International Immersion
module in collaboration with ESCP Europe at their Paris and Berlin Campuses to imbue a global business perspective in

PMX has an exacting academic schedule of four terms with each term involving a number
of short projects on relevant business issues. The programme provides a firm grounding in
concepts of general management and offers students opportunities to specialise in their areas
of interest. The programme consists of:

he Leadership Talk Series (LTS) at IIM Lucknow is aimed at promoting intellectual

he IPMX programme is abuzz throughout the year with a palette
of activities each of which adds a unique colour to the canvas of
the student journey at IPMX. These events nurture relationships
with the Industry, Alumni and the society while reinforcing the spirit,
teamwork and sense of community in the batch.

The year begins with ‘SHUBHARAMBH’ , a tradition that celebrates


the passing of the IPMX baton-the values, culture and legacy
from the outgoing batch to the new batch that embarks on the
marathon journey ahead.

Nothing celebrates the spirit of camaraderie better than time spent


on the field. PRAVAAH, the Inter-Corporate football tournament
is organised on these very lines and, as part of its philanthropic
initiative, the proceeds are contributed to an NGO Partner. The
campus is also vibrant with internal sports tournaments – Football,
Cricket, TT, Tennis, etc. held regularly throughout the year.

‘Udyam’ , the flagship event of IPMX, is the annual Industry-


academia interaction summit that is a melting pot for discussing
contemporary ideas and insights of the Indian and Global business
scenario. Udyam 2015 was focused on 4 themes – Consultancy
trends, E-commerce supply chain, Skill India Initiative and VUCA
through panel discussions and leadership talks by eminent Industry
leaders.

‘Nostalgia’ is a unique initiative by IPMX to recognize and felicitate


the achievements of the IPMX Alumni. It is also acts as a platform for
the current batch to draw on inspiration and valuable guidance from
Alumni to pivot their career ahead.
